Great place to stay!

Our family had a great time at SPI. The property was clean, well-equipped, and exactly as described. Rod and Rosa were outstanding hosts. We look forward to staying there again in the future.

Wonder place to enjoy and relax

This place was so nice and relaxing! We arrived and were very pleased with the condo! Communication with the owners was great! The property is very well kept and clean! Perfect place to call home for a week

Relaxing vacation

We liked how this condo had so many nice touches that made it feel like a home......fun art, books, plants, and knickknacks. It had a great view with a large balcony. The hosts were very communicative which made our entire stay easy.

Memorial Day Weekend

Great property and great communication by conscientious owners. We have been to SPI many times and have stayed at different properties on the island. We would choose to stay at this property the next time we return to SPI.

Padre in September

Excellent views, comfortable accommodations. I enjoyed the lack of crowds, but the island was far from abanded in late September. Good restaurants, a little shopping, but mostly soaking up the sun and swimming in the gulf! We'll be back.

We enjoyed staying at The Beach House while visiting South Padre.

The property was as advertised. Everything worked. Beautiful view. Clean comfortable living space. Unfortunately the pool was under repair and not available for our enjoyment.

Everything about this place was wonderful! I don't even know where to start. The view was amazing, the condo was spotless, beds were comfy, pools were awesome, beach towels were huge, patio was perfect. We had all the feels staying in this beach house condo, it was hard to say goodbye. Highly recommended!!! Can't wait to come back again someday. :) Thank you Rod & Rosa for being great hosts, you have Wisconsin fans!

great vacation!

Took the family for a much needed short vacation and it was just what we needed. The condo was tastefully decorated, clean, large spacious bedrooms with separate baths, large open living room and kitchen with windows that open to the bay. Outdoor patio to watch the sun rise. Clean walkway to the beach. Kitchen and baths supplied with all needs plus a washing machine and dryer. Private gated parking. Centrally located in a peaceful environment with everything just a short drive in either direction. Would definitely return. Many Thanks!

Greatest getaway of serenity and sunshine

This property had everything we needed to make a home away from home at the beach. It was super clean, well furnished, kitchen had all the needed items. The location was perfect; easy walking access to the beach; easy driving to the bridge & the grocery store. The swimming pools were clean--one in full sun during the day and one in the shade which was perfect in 100 degree temps, both perfect for an evening swim. The property felt safe with security codes and gates. The online photos were exactly what we found when we checked in. We would recommend this place for relaxing retirees, fun families, or a work-from-home getaway space. The shore, the gulf waters, waves and sunrise were perfectly viewed from the balcony. We will return to this property in the future, for sure.

An Amazing Stay on South Padre Island

This was one of our favorite VRBO stays we have had. This beautifully furnished Condo right on the beach is comfortable and quiet. The check in process was extremely easy, and communication with the owner was great. They send you a link that gives you all the info you need for access and a great stay. Each room is perfectly furnished and comfortable. The Kitchen is stocked with all needs for easy meals if needed, but the seafood on the island was always calling us, so it is hard not to eat out. The Balcony looks over the pool, and has an incredible beach and endless ocean view. The Property has beach access and showers to wash off after a long day on the beach. All linens are provided including beach/pool towels. Everything worked in the property and access is easy with an elevator if needed. Parking is gated and private with lots of room to park. We really enjoyed our stay here and will be back for sure. These types of properties are what makes VRBO really worth it. Thanks for a great comfortable & relaxing stay.

AMAZING!!

I am so glad there was a minimum of 3 night stay...my husband and I absolutely loved it! Our room was very nice and clean, smelled great. We hope to book this condo again. The view was what i loved the most.

Vacation on South Padre

We had a very relaxing vacation at "A Ray of Sunshine on the Beach". For decades we had used a rental company and something always went wrong. This time our stay was perfect. We were very comfortable and had plenty of room to spread out. If Rod and Rosa will have us we would love to come back again. Thanks so much and we look forward to doing this again soon.

Perfect Beach Getaway!

Our quick 5 day stay on SPI at this beautiful beach condo was a great beach getaway. We enjoyed sitting on the large balcony watching the waves and the spectacular sunrises as well as beautiful harvest moon over the water. A quick short walk and we were in the water. The condo was great as described and very clean. It had everything we needed to enjoy our time at the beach. Would definitely recommend staying here. The hosts were great to work with and provided great communication regarding the details of the stay- loved the link to the flyer which had all the info we needed for our stay.

Great views and great location

The condo was very clean and checking in and out was convenient. This is a beachfront property so it is a very short walk to the sand. The views of the ocean are amazing from a spacious balcony with seating. The location is great with restaurants and shops within walking distance. This complex has a gated entrance and there was plenty of parking available in the lot. I was happy with our choice of rental and would recommend staying here!

Beach Get-Away in February

A quick 5 day stay on SPI at a beautiful Beach Condo was an enjoyable Get-Away. Morning coffee sitting on the deck, enjoying the waves, and beach below and watching the dog walkers, followed up with time by the pool or toes in the sand on the beach. The condo had everything needed to enjoy the stay from beach towels and chairs, to board games and a blender. 5 Star rating - I wanted to expanded the stay a little longer.

Great day at the beach.

The condo we rented from BOVR was very clean and roomy. The decor was beachy and fun. And the property is well maintained with a nice pool area and access directly to the beach. I would definitely stay here again.
