We booked a last minute River View room...unfortunately there would be a view if the trees had been maintained. Room very basic but clean sheets & towels and comfortable bed. Shower good. Kitchen area had microwave, kettle & toaster and a very large fridge freezer. Cutlery & plates etc all mixed match. Peaceful lication but it seems everywhere clises on a Monday so had to drive to find a restaurant.

In my opinion, the room that I stayed in was clotted with furniture, a mattress on the bed was so soft it was ridiculous In the bathroom area around the window was filthy dirty exhaust fan. It hadn’t been cleaned in years. In the Very stale musty smell so for what they were charging I felt it was very unsatisfactory.

Great host.

Booked a non-refundable room that Hotels.com clearly stated was available. When arrived, advised there was no room available. Bob, the proprietor was great. The issue was with the booking app. Another guest had booked the last room with another app literally 5 minutes before I booked and paid. The app did not update as it should have. Luckily Bob had a room that had not been cleaned due to a late afternoon check-out. He offered to either clean it or contact another property on our behalf and give us a credit towards another hotel. We were very impressed with Bob's attitude and were very happy to wait so he retained the business. The motel is somewhat old but kept in good nick. Bob is a great host. We will certainly stay there again when next in the region.
