Ubicado a 7 millas al oeste de South Fork en la autopista 149, encontrará una cabaña de montaña ubicada entre los árboles que dominan el río Grande. Nuestra cabaña de montaña ofrece impresionantes vistas y una excepcional belleza natural que solo Colorado puede ofrecer. Dos habitaciones de abajo duermen 4 personas con camas queen. Arriba suite principal tiene cama queen y medio baño. Duerma huéspedes adicionales en el sofá cama o coloque bolsas de dormir en el loft del piso superior. Cocina recién remodelada está totalmente equipada. El comedor da a la terraza en la parte trasera que da al río.
Siga el río Río Grande a lo largo de la autopista Silver Thread Scenic Highway 17 millas hasta Creede y explore la ciudad y las minas de plata. O conduzca 30 minutos por la carretera 160 hasta Wolf Creek Ski Area, que registra la mayor caída de nieve anual promedio en Colorado.

The River Cottage worked great for us on our ski trip to Wolf Creek. Check-in/Check-out was super easy. Cabin was neat and tidy. Plenty of blankets, pillows and kitchen supplies.

Great, cozy cabin, perfectly suited to our low-key Thanksgiving getaway! Very peaceful neighborhood this time of year, enjoyed the river right outside! The cabin, with the wood burning fireplace and other amenities suited our needs perfectly and made for some great memories!

Amazing Stay!

It was an amazing trip. The house was very well furnished. It had everything we needed. It was very clean and we had no issues. Just steps from the river and we enjoyed fishing and just relaxing in the hammock listening to the river.

Overall a good place to stay, quite and good location. Clean and great outdoor space. Unfortunately the river was high during my stay so i can't attest to the fishing, though it is close by to numerous lakes which were great. Id definitely considered staying here again.

A little piece of heaven.

This was our 4th visit to the River Cottage. Every year we have come here to get away from the fast pace of the city. The river fishing, hummingbirds feeding and starry nights always do the trick!

Great location

River cottage was the perfect location for our family vacation to wolf creek. It was just a few miles into town and about 20 minutes or so to wolf creek ski area. We have been to South Fork numerous times, and our stay at the River cottage did not disappoint. The area was beautiful! We saw lots of wildlife from the cabin windows and on our drive into south fork. Would love to come back in the summer!

Beautiful location, very peacefull! Setting on the deck and listening to the river is very relaxing. My husband especially enjoyed being able to fish in the river. Cabin is nice, very well equipped. The kitchen had everything we needed to prepare meals. It was really nice having a washer & dryer. Only disappointments were that the two downstairs beds were not at all comfortable & the person that cleans the cabin doesn't do a very good job. Other than that, we had a wonderful stay

It was a perfect getaway for myself, my husband & daughter. The weather was amazing. The nature was unbelievable. We were able to see a bear. Lots of deer a couple of foxes bald eagle so many beautiful birds. It was amazing. We certainly will be going back. We’ve already decided. We are moving to the area and we have a plan to do so within the next three years we look forward to coming to visit during the winter time next.

The host was very welcoming and responsive. The place is great for a small family or a few couples. It's a very cozy place that has been well taken care of and has a lot to offer. The back yard view is spectacular and the access to the river is even better. The kitchen is fully stocked if you plan to cook, and the bathroom is updated which is great. The bedrooms are furnished with TV's and ROKU which is a plus and the WIFI works perfectly. The mattresses feel a little springy and heater takes a minute to warm up the place but there's a fireplace if you care to use it along with the heater.This is the perfect place to stay if you're visiting South Fork Area.Overall Rating - Definitely worth staying.
