Quiet area with excellent restaurant.

Quiet motel with a very good restaurant and excellent complimentary continental breakfast. Free guest laundry facility was very useful on our long trip. Would stay again.

When I walked in, the Indian man continued to type on the computer and made no eye contact, no greeting and no can I help you! Terrible service. I travel a lot and never complain but seriously when a customer walks in, at least say hello and can I help you. Very poor customer service. Also the bathroom was dirty and there was a Band-Aid on the shower floor, dirt in corners that a mop and sweep/vacuum could have removed. Won’t be recommending or coming back. You need to chat to your cleaners.

The property was conveniently located and an easy walk down to the Fascine. The breakfast was a pleasant surprise and the staff were friendly and efficient. It was an added bonus being able to get a load of washing done! Unfortunately the room we were in was old and tired, with paint peeling off ceilings etc. While the bedroom and tea making area was spotlesss, the bathroom was not. There was rubbish from previous guests behind the door and the shower was full of dust and debris (sand or crumbling grout perhaps). Back to the positives though - great breakfast, big fluffy towels, good size TV and reliable WiFi helped make it a good choice for a short stay!

Good location. We had issues with the TV & the reception guy came over very quickly & sorted with a tune up. The room cleanliness was sub standard…I didn’t realise how bad until I closed the toilet door….used toilet roll, grit & dirt that looked like it had been accumulated over weeks/months. Interestingly, there was a staff member in the room when we went in….apparently checking the room? Housekeeping?? Air con was beeping constantly overnight until we turned it off at the power point. I have given this place several chances but won’t be back.
