Check in was a breeze & it was ready early, much appreciated! Communication was almost instant. Very clean & nicely decorated. This is a new property & we feel there are things to be worked on. Many things were not practical or functional. Open shelves & attractive nick nacks aren’t what’s needed in a rental that will mostly be used by people who intend to hike the awesome areas. Kitchen: plenty of dishes but little drinkware, do not care to drink wine out of plastic, need more flatware, coffee cups, a vegetable peeler. There are 3 appliances: a drip coffee maker, a Keurig & a 2 slice toaster, that’s it! Lighting was great for cooking, but a dimmer switch in the evening would have been nice. Only lighting in living area was in the ceiling fan, needs a floor & table lamp. Bathrooms were very nice, large bottles of good shampoo, etc, plenty of large fluffy towels but no towel bars to hang wet ones! The lower level bar/game room, 2 bedrooms & shared bath are CHILLY! They have a concrete floor and NO rugs except in one corner with 2 side chairs. Bedroom & bathroom floors were COLD!!! Bedrooms on main floor had large area rugs centered under the beds, would have been nice on the lower level!!! Bring slippers!! We discovered a broom & stick vac our last evening, tucked in back of a bedroom closet as there is no utility closet, we would have swept up what we tracked in every evening after hiking otherwise. Could be a terrific place, just need to work becoming practical & functional.
