Location was great. Close walk to train station and all the meeting points of tours. Breakfast was good. Staff was friendly and provided restaurant recommendations. Air conditioning worked well. Room was close to reception area and was loud at times. Lift for luggage was convenient.

A wonderful experience at Palazzo Starace! To start, this is a very convenient location to the port and train/bus station, it was walkable for us, even with luggage. The staff here is outstanding! Helpful, polite, warm and welcoming. The room we had was spacious and clean. Some may say it needed updating, however we found it charming and beautiful with marble throughout. The breakfast here is also wonderful - overlooking one of the main walking thoroughfares in Sorrento we enjoyed sitting there. The food was fresh and delicious. Made to order eggs, plenty of pastries, fresh fruit, fresh squeezed orange juice, espresso and more. This is also very walkable to all of the top rated restaurants and so much shopping, literally steps from the entryway. If you are looking for a place to stay in Sorrento, I highly recommend Palazzo Starace and would stay there again in a heartbeat.
