Terrible! Not worth the money - avoid!

Once one of the best rated hotels in Sorocaba, I was shocked to find how poorly it has been kept. Staff isn’t trained, neither particularly friendly, decor looks like a hand me down from the Soviet Union, bedding and towels are old, stained and pillows smell. Old mini-fridge with nothing in it. Carpets full of massive stains - corridors look like previous murder scene from a horror movie. Room rate higher than other much better hotels in the city. Parking charged on top. To be fair, the only positive was the staff at the breakfast area who were sweet and friendly.

No microwave or coffee in the room. No washer/dryer services. A little inconvevient for a longer stay. Breakfast was great. Didn’t get use the swimming pool but looks good. Shopping is almost next door, not too big but has everything you might need.

It’s a clean, simple hotel. Breakfast is nice. Room decor is spartan. No iron, no blow drier in room. But, if you ask for it, they provide. Workout facility is very small and no air conditioning. Pool was closed.

Dated hotel and terrible food

I spent a single night at this hotel while travelling on business. The hotel is generally dated and the food is terrible. I had dinner at the restaurant the only night I stayed with them and I must say that I haven't had such bad food in a Brazilian restaurant in a very long time. All the food appeared to cooked from frozen, including the chicken. The vegetables served were quite clearly out of a tin. The only redeeming feature the hotel had was its staff, who are very helpful and polite.
