I stayed at the hotel for four nights. I book the room via their website. I got key to room 524. The room is very small, ca. 4.5 sqm. The bathroom is about 2kvm. the distance between the toilet bowl and shower is barely 50 cm. (Shower did not have doors or curtains to prevent splashing in the rest of the bathroom). I got a new room after I asked for it. I think it is a shame that the hotel offer this room at full price to its guests without informing the room state. at least they could offer this room for significantly reduced price. Breakfast is simple and varied. It's a simple choices of both fruits, vegetables and dairy products as well as variety of breads.Frokost is somewhat less choices in the weekend. In the lobby there is free coffee and tea all day.

I stayed one night at this hotel when I was in town for work. The hotel is centrally located, the airport express bus stop is only one block away and you are withing easy walking distance of restaurants and pubs. The room was a bit small, but it had everything I needed, with a desk to work at and a comfortable bed. There was some street noise during the day, but quiet during the night. I also enjoyed the free coffee from the reception as the room did not have a coffee maker. The breakfast was good, nothing special but sufficient for my needs. The staff was friendly and efficient.

I was here for a week on business. Reception staff were great, particularly Jessica and Wesche! The room was comfortable. The wireless easy to use and fast enough!. The bathroom had a great shower - and I LOVE bathrooms with heated floors. The room temperature was quite cold, but reception gave me a space heater to solve that. The breakfast buffet was good - I love the eggs and the great fresh bread. A good choice of things to have This is a nice, central Trondheim 4-star hotel.

This is a good and decent hotell in Trondheim centre. Easy to find. Ok parking. Nice tidigare rooms. Most importantly good comfortable hard beds. Good space in rooms to work in. I did not manage to get all lighting work.... Below view att lobby across The street.

I've stayed at this centrally located hotel on 3 different occasions. What I liked about the hotel is its easy access from the station (within 15 minutes walking distance), and from the airport (on the bus route); central location in the CBD and access to restaurants; it is on the bus route to the university; and has a fair spread of options for breakfast. What I did not like was the difference in room size and lighting. The rooms facing the front of the hotel are more spacious and have better day light whereas the rooms on the left and right wings of the hotel tend to be smaller and darker. Next time I will request my room selection rather than to be allocated a room.

During a weekend I stayed in two different rooms; one suite and one single room with an extra bed, The suite had a strange layout, lacked lights and sockets, but had nice newly refurbished bath rooms. The single room was small and dark. We were unable to book our rooms online. Therefore we made our reservations on the phone. The hotel did not keep to the prices we agreed on phone. We ended up paying more for the single room with an extra bed, than for a double room at a better hotel the same night in Trondheim.

Just spent another night at Augustin. I don't live far from Trondheim, and have relatives there, so it isn't often I stay at hotels. Not everything at Hotel Augustin is perfect, but the location is smack dab in the middle, you have everything within walking distance. Breakfast is great, with a wide selection of cereals, bread, ham, cheeses, fried eggs, well everything you could ask for, actually. The even have these small, warm, sweet croissants that I love after a decent breakfast.. Staff is helpful, and rooms are clean. Mine was a bit hot, actually, but i just opened the window. Elevator is small and a bit shabby, but works. I like to use the stairs, anyway. Due to the location and overall experience, I would probably choose this hotel again, even though I know that some of the other hotels are supposed to be better. This is perfect for me.

Desktop light not functioning and ventilation in bathroom not operative. This is the second, and last time staying here. The last time I was here the bedsheets were not clean and the flooring had a lot of scrapes. Maintenance is clearly not being prioritised at this facility.

Room was little small. No net curtains on windows (but I think that's a Norwegian thing!) No shaving socket in the bathroom was a pain. Location was excellent. Staff were very good. No in room kettle but free tea and coffee in the lobby.

I stayed recently at Quality Hotel Augustin in Trondheim. Each time I'm there I've enjoyed myself. Very friendly and helpful staff, great breakfast buffet, and cozy, comfortable rooms with sparkling bathrooms. Excellent choice of TV channels as well. This hotel is located smack dab in the center of town. I'm a court interpreter, and the hotel is just 5 minutes away from the courthouse. There are loads of restaurants nearby, as well as a shopping center across the street. To avoid street noise, ask for a room that faces away from the street. The view will not be grreat, but it will be quiet. Reception is very helpful at giving directions to venues all over town. They are very knowledgable and very friendly. No minibar in the room, but there is free coffee 24 hours a day in the lobby, and you can purchase snacks at the reception desk. (Breakfast buffet is included in the price of the room, which is customary in Norwegian hotels.) I highly recommend this hotel for travellers of all kinds.
