We are centrally located to accommodate any taste whether you are in the mood to relax, are into an adventurer, a foodie, beach comber or prefer the nightlife of downtown Victoria. Plan an adventure or relax in this peaceful space. This new build is completed with two large bedrooms, a large bathroom, dining area, full kitchen and all with unique craftmanship. The space The Basinview lookout is attached to our main home but is very private with separation, extensive sound proofing and your own serene space. It is located in a quiet and upscale residential neighborhood of Sooke called Saseenos which means sunny land gently rising from the sea. The area is surrounded with unspoiled nature, warm weather and spectacular views. The famous Galloping Goose Trail is just a stones throw distance away providing for some of the best local trail walking & cycling around! Shops & restaurants are a short drive away although some are a short walk as well.
The build itself is a stunning 2 bedroom, one large bath home with approximately 900 sq.ft of quality high-end finishes. Frigidaire appliances have been provided to make the guests cooking experience as seamless and enjoyable as possible. Fully stocked kitchen with all you would need to cook a great meal or do some baking. Spacious island with bar overhang as your dining table to make it a great space for entertaining. Take in some fresh air on the large 200 sq.ft deck for outdoor lounging on your hammock, dining al fresco at the table or star gazing in the evening. There is a cozy living room complete with a Samsung smart TV for all your viewing pleasure. Stunning primary bedroom with queen size bed and premium linens. Secondary bedroom with double bunks. Living room also has a sleeper option if needed. The bedrooms are equipped with brand new hotel brand mattress’. Throw blankets are provided in each room to keep cozy. Expansive main bathroom with access to full laundry. Air-conditioning for those warmer days as well in order to keep you as comfortable as possible.
Throughout the year, enjoy Basin views, gaze over toward the Olympic Mountain Range and beyond. Be sure to bring your hiking gear, your mountain or trail bike and to take in the beauty of the Galloping Goose Trail which is accessed at the bottom of the hill. The Sea to Sea Regional Park trail system in Sooke, BC, offers nearly 4,000 hectares of rugged wilderness. Located off Harbourview Road, it features roughly 30 km of shared-use trails for hiking, mountain biking, and horseback riding, leading to panoramic summits and quiet riparian lakes.
Prefer the water ? Bring you own kayak/paddleboard or rent it at Rush Adventures which has many options and is located within the wonderful Stickleback restaurant. They offer live music on weekends in the summer so be sure to add it to the list. Explore the wild nature of the Sooke Basin.
