Great property, clean, modern, stylish. Staff in lobby friendly and helpful. Lounge was always clean, always stocked with coffee and supplies. We stayed 4 nights in the pent house and it was a great space. The bedroom was separate from the common spaces. I didn’t like there was only one shower & the shower set up was actually a little odd with it being in the same space as the toilet and sink. So when showering, the floor where the toilet and sink were located would get wet as well. Parking, while it was directly behind the hotel was not ideal but not a deal breaker. It was $25 for the day so that figures into the price of the entire stay. Park at the one after the falafel restaurant, there are in and out privileges. Location is excellent to everything. I would stay again.

Not the best, not the worst

At first sight, it is a little rough around the edges. We pulled into L.A. and honestly felt like we were in the slums. The building itself was nice, but the neighborhood was a little sketchy. It was night, there were homeless people on the streets, digging through trash, smoking drugs out of pipes and sleeping. We are from Northern California and have visited San Francisco plenty of times, so we were no strangers to some of this behavior. But we had our 10 year old daughter with us and just felt like we needed to get her inside quickly. Parking is NOT included, so you have to pay $30 a night to park close enough to unload your luggage. And you have to move the car by 10am or pay again. Once in the building it is nice. Security and staff are nice and polite. Always hold open door for you. Get you towels, help with directions, etc. The room...we were shocked to walk in and see there are concrete floors. No carpets. No finished flooring like LVP or lino, just concrete. And there is no microwave...weird. A full kitchen with dishwasher, stove, sink, etc, but no microwave. Once you look passed that, it is nice. Laundry in the room, two separate bedrooms plus a familyroom, 2 separate bathrooms. It worked for what we needed, so I gave it 3 stars. But honestly, we wouldn't stay here again. Sketchy neighborhood, concrete floors in room, no microwave, pay extra for off-site parking. For the price of over $300 a night (including parking fees), we have seen much better!

If using the treadmill is important to you, call and ask if they’ve fixed them yet. Both treadmills were not working when I stayed mid-January. :(

Amazing experience!

My hotel stay was so nice and comfortable! The entire process was so easy and stress-free! I was traveling solo and I really enjoyed my big and clean room! The bed was so comfy and the bathroom was also very nice. The room also had a kitchen and refrigerator and a TV with all your favorite channels! Oh, and the front desk area has a security guard 24/7 and the door is always locked which is nice. Will book again on my next LA trip :)

The room was clean and smelled clean. The luggage lockers were a definite help, with us arriving at 11:00AM and not being able to check in until 4:00PM. Would definitely stay again and recommend to others

Very nice place to stay in downtown LA, safe & accessible to where you want to go. Very spacious, clean esp the bathroom is big. It is complete from washer & dryer, kitchen with utensils, fridge,tv. I would love to come back here again.

Don’t stay here

The hotel is located in a very bad part of town. It felt unsafe to step foot outside the property. Some of the staff were decent, others were rude. There is no microwave in a deceiving full kitchen. Very unfortunate. I would never stay at this place again.

These good reviews you see are so outdated. I booked this hotel because it had good ratings, but it was my worst hotel experience. Issue #1: the listing says “free offsite parking” and many reviews say there’s a free parking lot behind the hotel. Well, it’s not free. It’s $30/night and if you park there without paying, you risk having your car towed. Good luck finding street parking cus you won’t. I booked this hotel solely because i didn’t want to pay valet parking at other hotels. I ended up having to pay for parking every night anyways. Issue #2: One of the nights, I had no hot water (it was fixed), but i had to shower coldly. One of the other nights, all 3 elevators stopped working. We had to climb up 12 flights of stairs because we were on the 12th floor. When i reached out to them to ask if the elevator was fixed, they replied simply, “i believe so”. Issue #3: THE BIGGEST ISSUE - There is a rooftop bar right across the street from the hotel. AND THEY ARE LOUD. You can hear loud and clear, the music, the laughing, and chattering. The windows are not insulated so you can hear EVERYTHING. We could not sleep!! We were so shocked how we are on the 12th floor but we could hear them like they were next door. They gave us a “white noise machine” (plays background noise like rain) and earplugs, but it didn’t help. They refused to give me a refund for the remaining unused nights so we had to suffer for the next 3 sleepless nights.
