Splendid location near the motorway and ample parking facilities. Good hotel for stop over on business trip. No restaurant facilities in the hotel other than continental breakfast. Restaurant facilities present on nearby parking.
You get what you pay for .....and a little more , the room was clean and tidy and very quite ....I was a late arrival and the staff could of not been more helpful
I wanted a room for one night on the way up M5. Glad I chose this one, clean warm and quiet room on top floor, no evening food but ordered continental wake up breakfast which was good value. Internet provided but did not work in my room so be aware. Would definitely stay there again.
Stayed at days inn for night was impressed with the cleanliness of roomand freindliness off staff would definitely stay again very pleased
I stay at this hotel for a weekend once a year. Beds are comfy, clean, and lovely white fresh linen. Rooms are basic but very clean. Drinks and snacks are available at reception. Wifi is free and good. Sky t.v. is free. Breakfast is available for a small charge, late checkout is good @ 1pm for a small charge and all the staff are very kind and nothing is too much trouble. Stayed here 11 years on the trot and would reccommend it to anyone.
Very nice hotel but the unfortunately only smoking rooms available and the smell in the corridor very strong - the room smelt a little fresher but still not brilliant. Very friendly staff but really need to freshen up smoking area.
Not easy to find, have to go passed the signposted services (coming from the east) turn off on j22 go fully around the roundabout to come back off on j21, would have helped to have known this. It's very basic but clean. Only offers continental breakfast not worth it as Morrisons cafe is only a 10 mins trip up the road, cheaper and tastier. Above our room were a herd of elephants who liked to wander about at midnight. Not great when children are trying to sleep. Ending on a positive, although it's close to the motorway you hardly hear the traffic, it serves it's purpose if you just need somewhere to sleep for the night.
The Electricity totally shorted twice during the stay and plunged the room into total darkness. The staff corrected the fault both times but the fact this could cause a major issue fir another family gives me concern. somebody really needs to look into the problems immediately.
Stayed this weekend with our dog Lol a. Room very clean and comfortable. Made welcome by receptionist. Would have no reservations in recommending this motel to other dog owners. Only downside was lack of somewhere for us to eat. We are older generation and Subway, Burger King & Noodle Bar not to our taste.
Guest at present - booked three rooms totally over £400, 2 x double 1 x family room requested them all to be together The family room had a broken bed. Spoke to reception who stated they could not help and we could speak to the reception who came on at 11pm. After travelling 5 hours this was not helpful at all. They offered to give us another room which would have meant repacking everything and moving to a room away from the other two rooms. As this was a room for our older children this was not convenient or acceptable. We ended up moving the bed ourselves from one room to another. Made the bed up with sheets that were marked. So far dreadful service and room facilities. Not happy at all. The reception staff were absolutely appalling not helpful did not know what to do or how to deal with customers - totally out of her depth. Not happy at all
