Very very good hotel with friendly staff. One very small problem I found with my room was it had a rubbish shower head, most of the water went over the top of the shower curtain and into the floor, apart from that it was very very nice
Every time we have stayed here its been consistently good. Only improvement I could suggest is a small fridge in the rooms and a clock lol
Wouldn't stay again - bathroom not very clean - couldnt switch shower on full as the head was broken and the water shot sideways if you did! - booked a family room but extra bed not made up - receptionist delivered extra bedding and left us to make bed up ourselves - had to request extra set of towels both nights - little tubs of long life milk were so old the contents were yellow and separated! - bed very uncomfortable. It was cheaper than most so I guess you get what you pay for. Only booked it because it takes dogs and was a convenient location.
a perfect mid journey stopover point between the midlands and Cornwall, the staff are all cheerful and very helpful in all respects. I stopped here twice, this year, going to Cornwall and back and found the facilities in each room to be more than adequate in most respects. the one room was beginning to look a bit tired, but hey, it was December and end of season. By far the best aspect of the stop was the attitude and helpfulness of the staff, it could not be bettered anywhere.
Lovely little place to stay that is also dog friendly and reasonably priced...always stay here on our annual visit to Devon with the senior dogs. Nice and clean and staff are friendly and helpful. Definitely recommended especially if you want somewhere to stay with your dog family members
This is a very basic hotel, it was good for the price but when we arrived we had to make our own sofa bed up and had to ask for pillows and a quilt, the woman at reception was really helpful and offered to help and brought the stuff up to our room. The tv could’ve been a bit bigger and the bathroom was fairly clean although I think it could’ve done with a good scrub, but the good thing was you can’t hear the M5 traffic. I would stay here again but only for the one night
we stay here when we visit our grandchildren its convenient clean and friendly and easy to find
Splendid location near the motorway and ample parking facilities. Good hotel for stop over on business trip. No restaurant facilities in the hotel other than continental breakfast. Restaurant facilities present on nearby parking.
You get what you pay for .....and a little more , the room was clean and tidy and very quite ....I was a late arrival and the staff could of not been more helpful
I wanted a room for one night on the way up M5. Glad I chose this one, clean warm and quiet room on top floor, no evening food but ordered continental wake up breakfast which was good value. Internet provided but did not work in my room so be aware. Would definitely stay there again.
