10/10 Excellent

This was an excellent condo for our family’s first trip to solitude (2 adults and 3 elementary aged children) (our younger two kids shared a queen bed and our oldest slept on the living room sofa). The condo is sunny and very conveniently located (easy walk to the rental shop and the slopes). Do note that the walkable lift had no green slopes off of it and that ski school is located at moonbeam base—but the shuttle was quick and easy or it wasn’t too bad to walk up the hill with our green-level skier and then ski down under the link lift to ski school. My kids loved the solitude club amenities (I thought the pool was a bit chilly but it certainly didn’t bother my children—note that the slide was-understandably-closed for winter) and all of us enjoyed the hot tubs. My children especially loved the air hockey and skee ball in the arcade room. The unit was clean and easy to access. We were so pleasantly surprised by all the Trader Joe’s goodies that were left for us—thank you—this was a very thoughtful touch. We also thought the condo was well appointed—for example it’s rare to rent somewhere with good quality cookie pans—but this had them—and we appreciated that there were extras like olive oil, basic seasonings, shampoo/conditioner, coffee filters, and ziplock bags. The washer/dryer in unit, the boot dryer in the condo, and the ski locker downstairs were especially a nice touch. We would definitely rent this same condo again!
