Conveniently located close to the Kenai River for excellent salmon fish as well as great halibut fishing (which is just a 45 minute drive away), this property is an ideal location with household supplies minutes away in Soldotna. The kitchen is fully stocked with above average cooking and dining supplies. For a family of six adults, one bathroom, and the lack of a dishwasher was a bit challenging, but, because of all the other amenities, that was certainly not a deal breaker.
The entire home is a delight of Alaskan decor, comfortable, clean and very well appointed. The large upright freezer provided plenty of room for hundreds of pounds of filleted packaged fish and the outside barbecue is a great convenience.
Kathy, our host, was always available, quick to respond to any need that arose, going well above and beyond.
We look forward to returning to this property in the future

We were impressed with the cleanliness and the impressive decor. The Bed was very comfortable. One of the best vacation rentals we have stayed at a lower cost. We would highly recommend this property for its comfort and cleanliness!
