Beautiful, ultra modern hotel right on the main shopping street, with massive choice of places to eat & live entertainment on street at night. Having said that we heard no noise from our room on the 6th floor. Our room was lovely & spotlessly clean although the shower leaked every time we used it. Renovation works were taking place downstairs during our visit so we had a short walk around the corner to another hotel for breakfast which was very good. All the staff we saw in the hotel were very friendly & amazingly helpful, a credit to the hotel!
Stayed here for four nights. As with everything in Bulgaria, the prices are cheap. The room was very nice with one exception. The shower had the most idiotic design I've ever seen and it was impossible for large amounts of water not to leak. As a result, there was black mold all around the base of the shower. Not what you want to see and made me wonder what I couldn't see. There was also a nice large bathtub in the room. The breakfast was pretty good but the staff was awful. The woman working the breakfast room on the weekend clearly hated her job. Overall, with the exception of the black mold and breakfast staff, the hotel was very nice and a great value. The location was also excellent. I would stay here again, but not before I inspected the room.
Loved the unique design of this hotel. Absolutely different. Each room unique with sculpture and mosaics. Located right on the main pedestrian shopping street near everything. Service was very good and as they are renovating gave me a 15 % discount
A very central hotel on a big walking/shopping street. Top service upon check in. The room was very nice with a safe and refrigerator. A big bathroom with a bidet and nice shower. Good and quiet air conditioning. The breakfast buffet was ok but even if they said they started to serve breakfast at seven it wasn't ready when we came down. The second day we had an early flight to catch but we didn't even get a cup of coffe, we only got some bread slices. All in all, a very nice hotel.
This hotel is licated on main pedestrian street in Sofia. That is only positive about this hotel. Negative, where should i start?! Wifi poor, room very dark, dirty..... Hotel lobby like some hostel with just one table and shop.... strange people in and around hotel... few streeptize bars around so you can imagen how it look like. I spend one night and with no sleep since i could hear elevator, water from wc, people on hallway alllllll night. When i complained they didnt do nothing. I was eaching all night, think there were bugs in the bad.... Breakfast was redicioulus, poor selection, dirty dishes.... Whole expiriance like a nightmere... My advice is that you run from this hotel and dont make same mistake as i did. Just to remind that i oay it very expensive and my room was not the cheapest one but de luxe.
What a better place to sit and soak up the atmosphere of Sofia than a drink of wine or a ceasers salad at this nice place Melena our host was excellent and made the visit really enjoyable. Definately come back next year
We spent a couple of nights here in May 2017. We used the hotel to arrange an airport taxi for us (We arrived at 2am !) and they delivered - good taxi and the cost added to the cost of the stay which was good. Arriving at 2am we were parched but the promised "arrival drink" never materialised and we bought a bottle of coke from the vending machine which was a bit of a let down. The location is superb - right on the main walking shopping street of the city near loads of eateries and opposite a great gellataria. The rooms are really funky - highly original design and very quirky. Everything worked brilliantly - loads of hot water in the shower - wifi was free and no passwords to mess around with and worked reasonably well. All in all the infrastructure and location are excellent. Breakfast was another area which could have been improved slightly - we wandered in and some customers were being waited on - brought coffee etc and so we sat down - and waited - and ended up doing it all ourselves ! Happened both mornings - no idea why some people were fawned over and some not... odd. Food was reasonable - seen better and seen much worse. Check out was friendly and efficient - no dramas. Other than the few smalish issues mentioned the hotel is great - would certainly stay again for the quirky rooms and the location.
Great room with lots of light, nice view, free welcome drink, helpful staff. Small hotel in nice quiet neighborhood within walking distance to city center, city market, sinagoge. Hotel is pretty new very clean, spacious room, comfortable bed.
Very nice and helpful staff. The room was large with big comfortable bed. Be aware that you can see into the shower from the bedroom. Bathroom large and modern. On top of pedestrian shopping street that is fairly upmarket but being Bulgaria still very economical.. Good breakfast. The main metro stop is a short walk away, about 3-4 blocks. Only knock is that the only city map available hi-lited bars and restaurants and not sights. I'd stay here again.
Great boutique hotel. Funky deco. Great breakfast. OK staff. One of the reception guys was excellent. Room a suite, was comfy and the shower was great. Beds were very comfortable. Would stay here in a heartbeat. Center of everything. Wifi worked in the room!!
