Had a 7th floor apartment for two nights, much smaller than the wide-angled photographs on the hotel website suggest. Room starting to feel tired with stained furniture and carpets. Nice balcony though with table and chairs. Free parking in front of the hotel, good Wi-Fi, passable breakfast. Helpful staff who replaced a broken fridge within hours of our arrival. It's walkable to the cathedral (1 mile/20 minutes) or 1/3 mile(7 minutes) to the nearest Metro station.
Great room, with a great view. The hotel was also very nice and accommodating. We arrived around 10, much before check in time and without notifying them. And upon arrival they apologized that the room would only be ready in 20 minutes and offered us a drink in the meantime (on the house). Really great staff and would recommend to everyone to stay there!
If hotels in the city center are even close on price, stay there instead. About a 10 minute walk from the nearest decent area; 20+ minutes to restaurants or tourist areas. Very limited parking in front of the hotel. Extremely noisy street just in front of the building with 2 tram lines active at all hours. Rooms are spacious but serviceable more than comfortable or nice. Pretty good breakfast and pleasant staff throughout.
Great little hotel. Rooms are clean and well presented. They have those memory foam mattresses, which I'm not a fan of but hey ho. There is tea and coffee making equipment but buy your own milk if you're staying longer. Breakfast has everything from cereal to continental to cooked. Staff are brilliant very helpful. Trams run regularly right outside the hotel. Taxis are good. Bus and train stations are a walk away. Loved it!
Simple but well decorated and clean rooms. Very friendly, helpful and attentive staff. When we arrived one of the rooms for our party wasn't ready, the staff were so apologetic, mortified in fact and instantly sorted out an upgraded replacement. They clearly take a lot of pride in the service they give.
Well located, this hotel is close enough to the center of town. Rooms are clean and not cramped, quiet and comfortable. Shower worked well. Staff is helpful and most speak English. A good plqce at reasonable cost for a Stay in Sofia.
During a recent holiday in the Balkans, my adult son and I stayed in this hotel for one night. The hotel room was very clean as were the towels and bedding. The shower was powerful and had a wall attachment which we discovered isn't always the case. The hotel staff were very helpful and friendly. We had to check out of the hotel early in the morning so weren't able to take advantage of the free breakfast as it started too late. The hotel could look at starting breakfast earlier to accommodate those who are checking out early. The hotel is conveniently located close to the bus/coach station and takes about 10 minutes to walk there. The hotel stored our luggage free of charge until we collected it prior to our return flight to London. Considering our stay was during the peak summer months, we were very happy with the cost which I think was in the region of €45 per night for the room. I highly recommend this hotel.
I have had a great sleep on an awensome big bad, barhroom very ckean, excelent breakfast. They reserved a parking lot and it was realy keept for me. Receptionist and all other staff persons were very nice. There are few nice restaurants ariund, ATM, and metro station. Great stay and I'll come back for sure.
Spent 3 nights at hotel Budapest. The hotel itself is in excellent condition. We were upgraded to a deluxe room which was massive and comfortable. Breakfast was varied and with some different items from one day to another. Staff were great especially the receptionists who were always helpful and probably the best asset to the hotel. Special thanks for receptionist Sonya who was very efficient. The breakfast room was a little under-staffed though. The only negative thing is that the location is a good 20 - 25 mins walk to the main pedestrian centre but that would not keep me from returning to this hotel. Well done.
I stayed a long time in BudaPest hotel, which was a very good experience for me. The room was big and with a good view (corner room) to Vitosha mountain. Everything was clean. The whole hotel team was very good and helpful. Food in the hotel's restaurant was excellent aswell, not to mention the cool waiters, to whom was good to talk to. Next time in Sofia I'll stay there again.
