Friendly staff and great location.
BED BUGS!!! I stayed 4 nights. We had an additional bed for me in the room. I woke up in the middle of the night because I was bitten by BED BUGS. The next day they change the bedding but at night I was bitten by bed bugs again. On the last day of our stay, my husband arrived and he checked in to another room where AC and safe didn’t work. So, please be aware that this hotel has bed bugs. Do not ruin your vacation time like it happened with us! Worst hotel we ever stayed.
Top of the line accommodations and service. The staff was helpful on accommodating all my needs and the service was above standard.
So disappointed in the room. Lacked maintenance. Everything looked old. The cold bath sink tap was broken and the hot broke during our stay. We had a metal stick next to the curtain for opening and closing it with. We’ve stayed in many 5-star hotels in Sofia and this is by far the worst one. On a positive note, staff was great.
Good hotel in Central Sofia. It's more like a 3.5 star hotel, not a 5 star like it's advertised. There are a lot of restaurants, coffee places and bars in nearby walking distance. Vitosha street is a 5 minute walk. Do not eat or buy anything at the posh restaurant or shop in the hotel lobby. Extremely overpriced. I paid like 5 euros for a water that would have been way less than 1 euro down the street. The rooms are spacious and clean. More English TV stations would have been nice. The shower door was weird and water would leak on the bathroom floor. This wasn't the biggest deal but for a hotel stating it's the most prestigious, it should be better. In addition, the door to and from the hotel to the parking garage required a room key swipe and it never worked. I told an employee and he said it would be fixed immediately. I was there 5 days and it was never fixed. The free parking was a plus but the garage is tight so you have to park with caution. The hotel hallways also lack brightness but the rooms are huge. There were two couches in addition to the bed so that's another plus. I didn't get a chance to eat there but there was another cafe attached to the hotel. The prices were still a little steep for Bulgaria but more reasonable than the other hotel restaurant. There are also plaques with movie stars who have stayed at the hotel. I thought that was cool. I would stay here again but would probably try the Intercontinental or Hilton next time in Sofia.
Definitely would stay there again! very well located, beautiful hotel, large, clean and well furnished rooms. Staff very well trained, very helpful and courteous. all the facilities one would expect at a 5 star hotel.
This is a very beautiful, solid 5-star hotel. The only drawback is that their staff don't speak Russian well enough.
Nice hotel. It's getting a little dated but is clean and a good value.
we love everything about this hotel... can't wait to go back to Sofia and stay in this hotel again.
Pleasant hotel downtown, very modern and spacious rooms. Not high on the charm factor but quite comfortable. The concierge was helpful pointing me to restaurants and sites.

Dear Aryana, To be honest, this is the strangest complaint we have received for 18 years at this hotel. We have never had such a case before! Our hotel has very strict hygiene procedures. Some of them are related to disinfection, and others are related to the prevention of all kinds of insects. I have official protocols that I could show as evidence. I am very sorry to find out that for some reason your vacation was ruined, but I am convinced that the reason is outside the hotel. I was aware of your complaint, I personally investigated all aspects and I believe that our staff has done everything possible for you. Once again, I am really sorry that you were left with such negative impressions. Best Regards, Nikolay Rusev General Manager
