It is a beaituful hotel but very old. Furniture was old and the room was sooo smelly :( It smelled very strongly like mold. And it is not possible to open the windows wich was a shame. Bathtub was great, big enough for two :) The location was great though!
Location, Staff Behavior, Cleanliness, Large Rooms Fully Equipped, Breakfast, Lunch - Dinner, Parking. Price the best possible combined with the discount offered at lunch - dinner. All you have to say is a good hotel that you can comfortably recommend as the next stay
This is one of the best hotels in Sofia. If the price is right for you - don't think twice. The service is excellent. The car parting is free. The room are calm, luxurious and spacious. The breakfast course be better, but I really hope that the hotel reads this comments and will cut down on the items and order only fresh things (like the juice for example - fresh orange juice is much better than 5 different bad juices). The location is perfect - more central than that and yet so calm - you cannot get.
huge room space, spotless clean, extremely helpful staff at the lobby and the breakfast room. Very good idea the valet parking service and extremely helpful staff there too. can' t say the same about the receptionist that had to handle the reservation: he insisted that 2 beds are enough for the reservation of 3 people and tried to convince us that our reservation was not correct!!! A bit overcharged for the service: juice quality and coffee options could be better at breakfast. in-room coffee and tea facilities should be upgraded for the type of room offered (corner suite). Shower door should be serviced not to leak water to the floor. Cosmetics brand advertised were not made available, but plenty of complimentary cosmetics were there. Spotless cleaning and ample space available. Valet parking an excellent service included in the room price.
The breakfast was very badly organized. Not enough tables for the number of guests. Food was average at best and was not readily replaced when it finished. Room service was average at best. This is certainly not a 5 star hotel. In most countries it would barely be a 3 star hotel.
I visited for the New Years Eve 2017/2018 and it was a memorable 4 day holiday, the Hotel is Super Classic, Rooms are huge, mine was an executive which was upgraded for free, I had the New Years Eve Gala Dinner and It was my best New Year, I suggest this Hotel to every one, The Staff is Super Professional and caring, I loved it.
We had to carry out a number of meetings with a customer and the place was perfect - awesome location, awesome service and perfect meeting rooms and rooms to stay. Plus, all the important spots of Sofia are in walking distance. Also, the food is amazing! Probably my best work trip yet.
Lovely looking high end 5* hotel with very large rooms and great scenery located in central Sofia close to Vitosha shopping district. The hotel gym was reasonable and well staffed. The reception staff although efficient were a little serious at times and could smile a little more although I accept that arriving late at night might not be the best time for service with a smile. We stayed over during Christmas day and we had small children and it would have been nice if the staff had wished us a Merry Christmas on Christmas day but maybe that's asking too much ? Although large the bathrooms only have one sink and we stayed in a triple room so 2 sinks would have been more appropriate. In short a good hotel but lacks character / sparkle that we associate c with other high end international 5* rated hotels that we have used.
The hotel is very beautiful, the rooms are big and nice and the staff is very friendly and helpful. Really appreciated the service. The location the hotel is just perfect, you have a big park just next to it and you can walk to Alexander Nevsky church in 8min maximum. The restaurant is also very good with beautiful terrasse.
Great location, huge rooms, smiling and ever helping staff. Very good breakfast.their restaurant seemed to quite popular ,it was booked for a private party when we reached for dinner but the manager laid out a table for us in the coffee shop which was very appreciable .had a good time
