Starting with the reception : friendly staff , but overwhelmed and often it takes time to get things done. Breakfast is very average. The room was OK, but I had to walk for 15 minutes in order to get to it.The longest corridors in any hotel I've ever seen!
I stayed here for 1 night and it was very nice. It is a historical hotel with classic features. The rooms are huge. Largest I have ever stayed in. Internet is extremely fast and the breakfast was good. The location is perfect to the main sites. Highly recommend.
This hotel is in the traditional style which feels in keeping with the style of the city. Staff are all incredibly friendly and helpful. The spa is also nice- with lots of small rooms with a jacuzzi, steamroom, sauna etc so it feels almost private- they charge you a fee though even if you are staying in the hotel. There's also an amazing cafe with the best cakes!
amazing hotel, perfect service great staff are friendly and helpful great location, down town sofia close to all center extremely perfect I will recommend to all my friends great customer service I will book again
We enjoy every minute spent in this gorgeous hotel. Everything was excellent! Maybe next time we will spend more time in Sofia and will have the chance to try also the spa and massages. Top hotel, we recommend warmly!
A restaurant and night club across the road from the hotel (Emotion)prevented me,my family and several other guests from sleeping and in spite of complaints made at 1.30 am and 3 am no one was able to silence the noise .I called the police and that was equally pointless.Manager apologise the following day but felt rather helpless himself about this problem.Being an old client of the hotel this was very disappointing and frustrating for a 5 star hotel.Go to it at your peril!
I stayed with my family who really liked the experience and convenience. The Internet was great and especially appreciated. Breakfast cost was too high and unreasonable. I was grateful to have the parking.
Great hotel in best location in Sofia. Pleasant room, good services and nice people providing assistance. Rooms are clean and much silence even in the very center of Sofia. Nearby there are plenty of restaurants and shops.
Front desk and people working in the entrance not very friendly and smiling. This also counts in the breakfest area. Would be appriciated of a goodmorning or help with the differnet machines that didnt work. Even there was 10 people in the resturant. Service and loving your job was the main issue here. Also counts for the Cafe.
Stayed here on our Insight Tour of the Balkans for 2 nights. Very nice room (huge) with 2 sofas and a desk and chair and a built-in wardrobe. The bathroom has a walk-in shower as well as a bath. 2 bottles of water were provided complimentary. The breakfast was not good with lots of things run out and not replenished and the coffee was undrinkable. The wi-fi was very weak
