Great location to walk and sightsee in Sofia.

Walking distance to all of the main tourist sites in Sofia. Nice hotel. Very accommodating and helpful staff. Wonderful breakfast.

The Bristol Best Western is a small, well-appointed hotel in the heart of Sofia. Excellent care and service are provided. The room was comfortable and quiet, the breakfast was abundantly displayed, the staff was very friendly and helpful. My small criticism is that the bathroom is quite dark, but it was excellent for mobility access.

Location was very good as many points of interest and shopping facilities were within easy walking distance. Property itself was well maintained and clean. Everything worked, lifts, wifi etc. Breakfast was good with a range of cold and hot food and drinks. It would have been nice to have a larger front lounge/bar area. There were two tram routes beside the hotel. A metro station is a few minutes walk away.

Outdated hotel with strong cigarette smoke smell

The hotel is old with dirty carpet and falling paint. It is really a 2 or 3 stars hotel. Our room also had very strong smell of cigarette smoke for both days we stayed there, even though it was a non-smoking room. I will avoid the Best Western brand in the future.

Good hotel with a good price.

A comfortable and quiet stay with clean rooms, friendly staff and a decent breakfast selection. Good price for the location. Close to metro and getting around places in Sofia. Only 35 minutes on the subway directly from Sofia Airport which makes it very convenient. Room decor is a little dated but doesnt take away from the cleanliness of the room. Staff was great. I was allowed an early check in at no extra cost and check out was also a breeze.

The hotel is very nice. I travelled there with friends, we are all very happy with our stay. They knew we have 3 people reservation, they made the extra bed with extra towels on the bed; I have not seen any hotel done that before. The shower and toilet is very clean. The breakfast is very good, many choices, including hot food, cold food, and deserts, many juices & fruits. I don’t know why other reviews are saying it’s bad but the food is much better than the food offered in the Aspire Lounge in Sofia airport. The stuffs are very nice! The hotel is very clean and well maintained. It’s safe area and quiet. I would stay here again next time!

This location is very convenient, I walked everywhere. The room is very clean; stuffs are ver nice. I am actually surprise how clean and good it is as I stayed in another ski resort in Bulgaria. The breakfast is also very good, various hot food and cold food options with deserts. Definitely a great stay; I would stay here again next visit.
