Location is the best! Steps from ski rental, lift tickets, and gondola. Great breakfast and lunch. On Saturday night, they provided cheese and chocolate fondue, as well as appetizers in the Great Room. A very nice touch. Wonderful staff and cleaning crew. Free shuttle to and from ASE airport. Free village bus service to all four mountains. Excellent accommodations if you’re in it for the skiing.

Sad, dated, over-priced. Motel 6 would be an upgrade. Visited during summer season. Our room did NOT look like the pictures. Basically no in-room amenities (only refrigerator, plastic cups). One Kurig machine near reception: broken. Elevator: broken. Check-in: abysmal. Front entrance @ 3rd floor, our room 2 floors down at ground level. Asked reception if there was a back entrance - no. So they watched 69 yo female me sweating luggage and camping gear up and down 2 flights of stairs - no offer of help. Maintenance/grounds keeper saw me and helped me carry everything at check-in, and wouldn’t accept a tip— thank you!! Turns out the room has a door that opens to the back AND there’s a back entrance through the garage. Good grief! Breakfast — terrific food and wait staff! Thanks for that!

Excellent stay at Snowmass Mountain Chalet. The location is extremely convenient—steps from the mountain and village. The staff were genuinely friendly and welcoming throughout our stay. The lobby is warm and comfortable, a great place to relax after skiing, and the breakfast was delicious and well done each morning. Would definitely stay here again.

Staff at Mountain Chalet was professional, which is more than I can say for Expedia. Just call the hotel, they will price match Expedia and offer refunds if there is a problem. Whatever you do, don’t buy the trip protection without a lawyer. It’s thousands of words and limitations.
