Week at the Beach
Our family has done a beach vacation together for years. We are three generations, 18 total and stay for a week.We have stayed in many different beach houses over the years so here is a synopsis comparing this house from our experience.
Pro's' of the house.
The house is new. The rooms accommodated us well. The dining table was large and there is a table with chairs on the front deck also.
The kitchen was stocked with enough dishes and cooking equipment but nothing extra. No wine glasses, No baking equipment. It had a keurig machine for coffee. No coffee machine. The view off the back deck is very peaceful and beautiful. The path to the beach is right across the street.
Con's
You will need to cross a fairly busy street to get to the beach.If you are sleeping in the rooms that face the beach, you will hear the cars from the street. We have rented beachfront homes in the past that are peaceful to sit on the front deck and look at the ocean. This home has views of the ocean from the front decks but we did not find it peaceful as there was the busy road between you and the ocean. There are no beach chairs, umbrellas or toys at the house so make sure you bring whatever you will need for the beach.
Overall the beach house was nice. Not our favorite though.
