Come enjoy the best of both worlds! This sound front home has direct access to the Intracoastal Waterway yet is just a block from the ocean (you can see and hear the surf!). Go fishing right in your own backyard, bring your kayak or jet ski to tour the island, or just relax on the dock while watching the egrets and pelicans. No extra charge for sunsets! Tennis courts surrounded by live oaks and a small boat launch are steps away. Challenging golf is just over the bridge. When you're ready for the surf, it's just a few minutes' walk down a quiet block to a beautiful, uncrowded beach. The oceanfront clubhouse has a large swimming pool and a private parking area. All this in a secluded setting in the prestigious Village of Stump Sound!

This retreat is located in the serene Village of Stump Sound community, which has a community pool, beach access, and clubhouse. Other amenities for this home include high-speed WiFi, a private dock with a cleaning/prep station, a large soaking tub in the main bath, multiple TVs, and so much more! This property has been recently renovated and has exciting new upgrades like new flooring, countertops, appliances, furniture, bedding, and fresh paint throughout!

This is a two-level, reverse floor plan home. The first level contains three bedrooms and two bathrooms, and three different decks (two on the ocean side and one large deck on the sound side), and the second level contains all living areas, another bed and bathroom, and three more decks like the first level. When you enter through the front door, you will see a set of stairs on your right which leads to the second level of the home. To your right is also a hallway that leads to all the beds and bathrooms on this floor. The washer/dryer can be found behind the double doors on the left side of this hallway. Both the first and second bedrooms have access to the sound front deck. The last bedroom on this floor is the first-level main bedroom, which harbors a small desk (perfect for sending a few emails or writing in your journal/planner), gorgeous nautical decor, and a sliding glass door that provides both extra light and instant deck access. This bedroom is on the ocean side of the home, and this deck is only accessible through this bedroom. The attached bathroom has been renovated and has gorgeous ocean blue tile flooring.

The second level contains the last bed and bathroom, as well as the living area, kitchen, dining area, and access to the top-level decks. With a couch and three chairs, there is plenty of room for everyone to get comfortable while winding down with a movie on the large TV after a long day on the beach or out on the boat! Open the curtains of the windows to let in the sunshine and take in the spectacular view! There are also two sliding glass doors in this area, providing you with instant access to the amazing views and salty air. Savor your first cup of coffee and enjoy sunrise views over the ocean from the front balcony, and then wind down with a drink and enjoy gorgeous sunsets from the rockers on the large back deck. Try out living island life like a local and cook your meals in this gorgeous kitchen! Fully equipped with all stainless steel appliances, plenty of cabinet space, gorgeous mosaic tile backsplash, brand new granite countertops, and lots of counter space provided by the bar area, whipping up your favorite dishes will be a breeze! The window over the sink area is a nice touch of natural light to help you ease into your mornings. Adjacent to the kitchen is the dining area, with room to seat up to eight people. Utilize the large dining table by serving your meals family-style, or by playing a board game after dinner is finished! Enjoy your first meal of the day basking in the sunlight with breathtaking views of the Intracoastal Waterway.

The last bed and bathroom are also on this second level. This bedroom is the second-level main bedroom and it offers access to a private deck (ocean side) and an attached bathroom. The main bathroom contains vanity sinks, a stand-up shower with a glass door, and a large soaking tub perfect for additional relaxation after a long day in the sun. Beach, boating, fishing, nature watching, and spectacular sunsets make this a unique setting!

Family vacation

The house and location were beautiful! Truly relaxing and peaceful. I would recommend this place for anyone looking to get away, relax, reset and be restored. We had some issues with the heating/cooling but Vacasa was quick to respond and kind in their response! Highly recommend!!

Great getaway

This house was our pick because it is soundfront, but a quick walk to the beach and community pool. The private dock allowed us easy kayaking and fishing. Kitchen well stocked with cookwear and dishes. Floors were a little sandy upon arrival, but cleaning was acceptable, not exceptional. We experienced Tropical Storm Ophelia while there, and experienced quite a bit of water coming through the windows, but someone from management was there as we left to look at the situation. We would stay there again.
