I don’t typically leave reviews but felt this one needs it. We had received the code through text the night before but upon arrival it wasn’t working. We were told we were given the wrong code. The pictures are definitely outdated on the listing. The steps leading to the beach show no landscaping but there is now over grown on the steps. When we got there the amount of sand still there was surprising after seeing you can be charged extra. The sliding doors and master shower glass looked like they ain’t been cleaned in a long time. The shower heads definitely need a deep clean with all the grime on them. Then the vents around the sliding doors on the second floor had soft spots which was a little concerning. As other reviews mentioned the couches are terribly uncomfortable and stained. Thankful we weren’t in the room much. My biggest annoyances and concerns were in one bedroom downstairs there was no lights, there was a lamp but no lightbulb. The bedroom downstairs with the twin bed had a vent above the bed that constantly dripped on the kids bed leaving it wet. We couldn’t figure out why it was dripping. We didn’t leave doors open. Lastly, the bugs seemed excessive. We killed two roaches! But there’s a note stating they’re “normal” but I don’t know how normal I’d call this amount. Overall the purpose was served but I definitely couldn’t give 5 stars. Especially after being told the host fee was so much higher to maintain property in excellent condition and cleanliness.
