Beachfront Cottage with and private beach access and dock with stunning views!

Enjoy the best of both worlds – a house situated on the sound with unobstructed views and access to the beach! A playground for both adults and children.

The house features an open style kitchen, family room, and dining room affording 180° views of ocean and intracoastal waterway. A fully stocked gourmet style kitchen with Bosch appliances is something to be enjoyed, enhanced by views of the ocean and sound. The spacious kitchen also allows many helping hands to make the experience much easier on the main chef.

The home was totally remodeled in 2006 to provide us with all the bells and whistles we wanted in a dream house. It is divided into two sections: upstairs for the adults to relax and visit; and downstairs for the younger ones to enjoy quiet time or to watch TV, movies, or play many of the games provided. And everyone can enjoy the shuffleboard table and beach games downstairs!

Enjoy all the activities associated with sound access including kayaking (several provided), canoeing (one provided), crabbing (crab traps available), and clamming. The house has a pier on a large marsh bay area that is safe kayaking for children (avg depth of 3 ft). The waterway is several hundred yards away and accessible at high tide with a small boat. Yachts and fishing vessels are a pleasure to watch from our decks and dock, as well as many varieties of birds including osprey, great herons, egrets, and pelicans. Relax in the hot tub while watching the sun set over the waterway and under the stars at night.

The outdoor shower under the front deck is a great accommodation to rinse off all the sand and sunscreen from a day on the beach, which can be accessed using a private walkover across the street!
The vacation home is air-conditioned and features a kitchen, 4 bathrooms, and a patio. There's space to spread out with 5 bedrooms and a dining area. Guests can expect to find free WiFi and a TV with a DVD player. Other standard amenities include a washing machine, a fireplace, and a coffee maker. Housekeeping is available on request.

Great opportunity to have an ocean side and a bay side to appreciate and enjoy. The house had issues though: water heater didn't operate properly. We had to take cold showers until Tiffany our property manager got a second plumber in to install a new unit. The kichen faucet turned off and on all by itself. The wood walkway from the front of the house to the road has several unsecured boards that flipped the walker. Trip hazard. We didn't get the quality experience we expected for the amount of money paid. We were surprised to find out the househad sold the day before we arrived. Didn't they inspect?

We loved this property! It was spacious, clean and offered access to the sound and ocean. We used the kayaks several times during our stay and the dock onto the sound was one of my favorite places to sip coffee in the morning. We wanted to stay forever!I plan to be back again next year!
