Ok for a short trip
Pros:
The neighborhood is great. There were mostly families and older couples which was nice. We like to get away from the noise and partying that happens at some beaches. There’s a small convenience store across the street with minimal basics.
The property provided plenty of towels, pillows, and blankets.
They provided a drying rack in the closet of the bedroom.
Beach chairs and umbrella were provided under the twin bed.
There were plenty of parking spots available.
Cons:
There is no central air. The AC units worked to an extent. The first night was miserably hot. The bathroom has almost no ventilation. It stays hot and wet. You have to keep the door open with the fan running or it gets so humid that the toilet paper stays damp.
The beach directly in front of the property is only accessible for a few hours in the afternoon due to the tides. You have to walk down the street to a different area to set up your beach chairs any earlier.
The unit smells strong like mold.. probably from lack of ventilation. There were plug ins around the unit trying to mask the smell.
You are required to take out all of the trash before leaving but extra trash bags are not provided - make sure to bring some
The deck is definitely wobbly - as some others reviewed - the floor has some give when you step on certain areas.
The couch is a motorized recliner but one side is broken so you can’t push it in all of the way.
We found a pill on the dresser when we checked in.
