Kirkjufell Guesthouse and Apartments
5/5 Excellent
"A great place to stay, with very clean apartments and a prime location near Kirkjufell.
The lady who showed us to our room was very kind and made an effort to warn us about the weather conditions, even though she didn’t speak much English.
Unfortunately, we found ourselves in a difficult situation due to severe weather. The snow had disrupted traffic, and when it was time to check out, we were unable to move our car because of the accumulation. They had arranged for snow clearing later in the day (around 14:00), while our check-out was at 11:00.
Thankfully, they also run a guest house and kindly allowed us to stay there for a couple of hours while waiting for the storm to pass, which we really appreciated.
Overall, a very positive experience despite the weather challenges."
