Villa Selena, penthouse 2

Great apartment (penthouse 2) in quiet location. Modern with lots of space. Beds were hard and we had no shower due to the shape of the roof but overall very happy

Villa Selena was perfect for us, we wanted a quiet getaway in October. We had most of the property to ourselves, 2 beautiful pools, fantastic views and some winter sunshine. The apartment was fully equipped and spotless. It was about a ten minute walk into the town which had bura line boat transfers to Split and Trogir both beautiful and bustling for October. We used uber to get to Kastle Stari on night's we wanted a nice dinner out. Overall it was a great week away and would fully recommend Villa Selena, the owner Christina was so nice and helpful, thank you for a wonderful stay!

Good value, clean.

The Villa Salena, is a great little spot. Close to the beach with a nice pool. The apartment was sparkly clean and the reception super friendly. It does need a few upgrades/repairs. The bed was very firm, felt like sleeping on a box spring. We have done a fair bit of traveling and for the price it was a nice place in a safe location.

August 2019 family stay

We stayed for 5 nights at the start of our holiday. Communication before was excellent & Ivanca was superb during our stay. The AC was brilliant & needed as temps reached 37+. Pool lounger were always available during the day. Pool got busier late afternoon as people returned from the beach. We had a ground floor apartment that opened onto the pool area, but had privacy on our terrace from bushes. Would definitely recommend Hotel Salena as a base for visiting Split. The ferry across was easy and access from the airport quick.

Overall a nice experience, well placed apartment with great view, well equipped with just a few little things that could have made it a great holiday. The place was clean and we were welcomed warmly by the host. Minuses goes to : not enough parking spots, one of the pools got real dirty (filters malfunction probably) and nobody came to fix it for as long as we stayed (you can see the different clarity of pools in the picture), the "king size" bed in which we slept with our little kid was 1,4m wide - way to narrow (all the sleeping rooms were small, under 9 square meters - that is illegal in my contry btw) and the wifi worked bad in the first day and then it stopped working.

The apartment was amazing, pool was perfect and really nice sun bathing area. Views from the balcony are amazing as well. The matress was slightly firm and there were a few little things we werent told about such as where to put the bins and how to use the oven but the owners were really helpful.

Comfortable apartment but could have better locati

Very enjoyable stay and staff friendly and helpful. We did have a TV but unfortunately all the channels in German. Internet only worked properly in reception area. Extra bedding and towels readily available from store room.

Great apartment in a very peaceful location

Excellently furnished apartment for a longer stay on the island of Ciovo. Good public transport connections to main sightseeing spots nearby. This is a small but rather self-sufficient village with very good shopping and eating out choice within 8km distance. The owner was very helpful.
