If this was a motel, charging you 30€ it would have been kind of ok... but: I stayed two nights there at the begin of my 2017, they charged me 75€ per night for a single room that had the poorest quality... the closed had no door to close, the bed was as simple as it could have been - have seen better ones in hostels - the heater in the bath was rotten, the holder for the shower head on the slider bar was broken so that you had to hold the shower head in your hand while putting shampoo in your hair... after the first night the cleaning lady forgot to take away the tea mug that I used away, she forgot to clean the table, and she forgot to clean the sink and she forgot to close the window before leaving the room... which was awesome cos after an entire day of sight seenig in the could and rainy weather I returned back to a hotel room that was cold as a fridge... when I complained about the tea mug and the not clean things and the open window the lady at the reception told me "hm... really... well when you turn on the heater the room will be warm in 15 min or so..." wow who would have expected this... BUT not everything was bad - at least the coffe (breakfast was not included in the 75€ room rate!!!) was ok... I would rather stay on a camp ground than in this hotel again...
Excellent staff, welcoming, polite and helpful. However, if you are looking for a very basic hotel that is a bit worn out and a bit grubby, then this is the place for you. It is a shame that they did not knock it down and start again when they were building the posh offices next door.
For a business traveler surely not the place you want to stay after a hustling day. No comfort at all, furniture and bathroom totally outdated, even damaged. Had to pay in advance at check-in?!! Even though the price was low, the offered experience was lower. Worst stay on my Poland trip. I am sure there are better price/value options around Katowice.
The staff was very helpful and all the times willing to help. The rooms were extremely clean. I will definitely return back. The hotel is also close to a shopping center as well as public transport. Their location is real good.
Nice hotel, the staff were brilliant. We would have a drink the lobby bar after a day out and about. The staff would play game with our son, and he seemed enjoy his stay It would have been nicer to be closer to the centre, and the breakfast wasn't brilliant. Other than that we had a good stay.
Being a chain, its supposed to be the same everywhere and i was glad to find that is actually a very nice and clean hotel, not far from the centre of the city, to whom is well connected by public transports. In my opinion for this price you can't find better.
Comfortable room for a short stay. 2 bottles of free water as well as tea and coffee facility were provided. Hotel is eco friendly - toiletries provided were made from biodegradable ingredients and the hotel encourages 'green initiatives' such as saving water and electricity (see the photo). Very clean room and bathroom. Unfortunately there was a stale smell of the cigarettes there - it's a shame that not all guests obey the non-smoking rule. Very comfortable bed with a new mattress and white clean linen. Good choice of food for breakfast. WiFi was a bit slow. Hotel is located next to a busy road however the 'white noise' of passing cars didn't really bother me (I stayed on the 1st floor).
The hotel is situated quite far from center, but it was in the perfect location we were looking for (for those who travel to Katowice for OFF-Festival the location is perfect). The room was very nice and clean. We stayed at the hotel when the temperature outside was enormous, but the air conditioning system in the hotel worked perfectly, it was never hot in the room and never cold. The staff was very nice, helpful and polite, Cleaning service was also very good and we had fresh towels every day. Very good experience!
I stayed for 3 days in Campanile Katowice. It is located close to highway but it is quiet in the room until you keep windows closed. Unfortunately, room was really ugly. Furniture and design are really outdated. I paid relatively high price for this room and I expected better quality.
The hotel is situated next to a busy main road, and has a Mcdonalds and BP petrol station next door. There is a hotel car park behind the hotel. The reception area is clean and well looked after and the reception staff were very helpful, although a smile was beyond most of them. The real downside to this hotel is the condition of the bedrooms. Mine was in very bad condition and there were black hairs in the bath and sink. The sink also had a large crack in it which was black, so must have been there for sometime. It was only £19 per night for a double room, so it was ok for the night. I had my bedroom window open all night and was not disturbed by traffic from the main road,
