Basic motel in a "sleepy" Maine town on Rt 2 that was suprisingly clean, comfortable and neat. Abundant flowers outside. Unfortunately we arrived when it was raining so had to limit checking out the town. Beautiful scenery .

Had a nice time at this little motel. The room was very serviceable. People were very friendly. Only stayed one night. Breakfast was nothing to look at, but the coffee was good. Swam in the beautiful pool in the morning before the sun was too hot. Just the two of us. Price was Ok. Will definitely stay here when in the area.

Can't say enough about this place. Had never been to Skowhegan before, but we now have a reason to return. Stayed twice, enroute to and from the east coast. Staff were very friendly. So was their beagle Max. (We fell in love with him right from the get go.) Room was comfy and quiet. Internet was the fastest we had seen on our trip. Loved the desktop charging station. Bed was comfy. Dinner recommendation for the Heritage House was spot on. Breakfast was great, especially the fruit salad.

Wasn't sure about this reservation when I made it, but this little motel was a very pleasant surprise. The room was lovely, and exceptionally clean. Bath towels were nicer than most chains. The staff was extremely nice and accommodating. Breakfast was limited, but that was fine. I'll definitely stay there again!

We booked a double queen room and it was huge. You could have danced around the room . It was a bit dated but furniture was classic style. Very clean. Pool nice. We walked around Skowhegan and had some of the best Thai food ever. Found a pioneer cemetary down the road. Loved the beautiful homes and buildings downtown.

A bit of a trip back in time but in a good way! An older building but family owned and well maintained. Friendly, accomodating staff and reception. Very clean and efficiently furnished with space to move around in our room with two double beds. A busy main street but the motel room we had was at the back of the parking area and upstairs. We left windows open at night and heard no traffic. Had a fridge and microwave. Nice pool and breakfast was continental but with nice touches. I would go back....

Stayed here on our way to Nova Scotia. This is a Mom & Pop run small motel. Clean, quiet, and inexpensive. Perfect for what we needed. Front desk clerk was very nice and helpful with dinner suggestions.

This whole town and the motel is like a step back in time. It is almost overwhelming. We reserved a king room but the desk clerk allowed me to look at that room and a room with a kitchenette. The king room was pretty small, and the kitchenette room was much bigger. In the larger room there is a kitchen area, sitting area, bathroom and bedroom. There is a window-unit air conditioner, but it was in the kitchen area instead of the bedroom. It kept the room cool. There were an adequate number of plug-ins for charging computer stuff. There were 2 televisions. The bed was fairly firm, but not hard. In the kitchenette, there is a sink, small refrigerator with freezer, cooktop and microwave. There is an assortment of dishes. For a few dollars more, we opted for the larger room. This is truly a small town motel. Everything was clean and well cared for. There is a fair size pool on the property. The motel is located on a busy street, but we were away from the street and it was quiet. The breakfast was cereal, yogurt, fruit, hard-boiled eggs and some breads. This worked well for us.

Clean room, beds were comfortable, no microwave, the rates were kind of high for off season. Needs more lights, kinda dark in the room. Stay there about 25 years ago. Nice stay back then to. No hospital rates though. Not a bad place to stay

Room assigned was next to office with all the noise that comes with doors closing with check in and vending. Owner moved us with no problem to the lower quiet section. Room was very clean, but very musty with hideous wallpaper. Very few plugs with extension cords running everywhere.
