Nice rooms, spa, massages were acceptable, breakfast was below average. Lots of selection but not great quality on everything. lots of the food was barely lukewarm and their bakery items were not very fresh. Great location though! Would stay here again, would just do breakfast elsewhere.
Lovely hotel in the heart of Skopje. Excellent service.
This property is just short of "Elegant" with the Covid-19-caused limited breakfast menu & extremely-poor Wi-Fi being the only two factors that cause it to fall short. Check-in was fast & friendly with sincere assistance provided in bringing-up my bag. My brand-new mobility walker was destroyed enroute by my airline so, upon check-in, the night receptionist left a note for his morning-shift colleague to contact me in getting a new one ordered locally & delivered to the hotel. This was accomplished the next morning and I'm very, very grateful for their help in doing so. My room was larger than expected and very clean and well-appointed with a great view. The breakfast was filling although previously mentioned, limited. The entire staff without exception were fantastic and very accommodating to my disability. Their location is off-the-wall perfect in every way with pretty much everything to see right about the front entrance. This property is even listed as a tourist attraction on the city tourism marquees. This property is a must-stay-at in my book of travels to 60 countries thus far. You won't regret it!
Felt like an American hotel in the center of Macedonia
One of the best Marriott's I've stayed in. It was very modern with great amenities. The spa area is beautiful with a pool, Jacuzzi, and sauna. I Highly recommend this hotel.
We were very pleased with our stay at the Skopje Marriott. The front desk staff-Daniela,Tonchi,Filip-were kind, competent and professional to a caliber seen in the West. The District restaurant was fantastic with high quality meals that took a little longer to make since they were home made. The Sarma and Mousakka were super. The staff were kind and present, making sure to check in regularly. The rooms were clean, new and comfortable. We stayed in the Junior Executive suite with my wife and 2 kids. There was plenty of room with the fold out bed. Only critique would be they need to have more plentiful and engaged staff at the entrance to help with our suitcases. We had quite a bit of luggage and essentially brought it on ourselves. We spent 2 nights at the Marriott before staying two weeks in Macedonia staying with family at their home. We then came back for an additional night before a 430 am flight. This will be our hotel every time we stay in Skopje.
I had no idea that Skopje would be this good. This is the first Balkan city that is really taking off. The Marriott is in the perfect location .
