The cottage is a short walk from the centre of Grassington, which holds the Summer Arts Festival hosting famous artists, and in the winter there is a Dickensian Festival to really get in to the spirit of Christmas. The village is well served with a variety of eateries, which serve both simple home cooking and fine dining. Walking and cycling are available direct from the door with both easy riverside walks and more strenuous hill walking. The market town of Skipton is a short drive, here you will find a Norman castle standing proudly at the top of a wide cobbled high street and a bustling market to browse through, together with canal trips, an indoor swimming pool and golf course. Shop, pub and restaurant 400 yards.

Clean, comfortable and quiet. Lovely view from the patio garden. Hosts were friendly and on hand if we had needed them (we didn't) but were never intrusive.

Warm and cosy
Ideal location to Grassington and wonderful views from the cottage , I found our stay there very relaxing. The cottage is very well equipped and comfortably furnished. It was in easy access to areas of interest. The owners directionstothe property were spot on and we easyily found it. We took our little dog who settled in well, we would go again.
