Probably a nice hotel.

I really can't tell much about this hotel since hotels.com and/or the hotel messed up the reservation and after driving 70 km in a thunderstorm to no avail the receptionist informed me that there was no reservation. Still - hotels.com wanted me to write a review so here it is: The hotel has got a roof, a reception that closes at 17:00 but quite friendly staff. There's a door to the reception and a restaurant with a locked door. The location is probably nice but since it was a thunderstorm and late in the evening I didn't check out the surroundings and was rather annoyed since I've been driving for most of the day and didn't have a hotel room for the night since - did I mention this? - hotels.com failed to inform me that the guaranteed reservation wasn't that guaranteed after all. The hotel is probably nice for those that doesn't use hotels.com. I really wanted to use a bit more colorful language in this review but the automatic filtering didn't like my choice of words.

Great B & B nestled in the dunes

Skagen hotels were all booked via Trip Advisor and this popped up. So glad it did. What a treasure and especially because the restaurant is a big plus for staying there. Being able to hike into the dunes from the hotel is a plus.

Excellent little hotel, charming and very Danish. The dinner was exceptional with local fish etc available. Recommend lobster soup particularly. Would definitely stay again,
