Apartment Hotel by Lake Garda

Great apartment hotel, with a nice pool and a sister hotel by the waterfront that can also be accessed. It was very nice to have bicycles to bike around with and was included with the stay:) Grocery shopping at MIGROSS was not far away and also good food/coffee at good prices in their Bistro. A good Pizza joint was also close by in the neighborhood! We used this place as a base and visited many places around the area including Verona and even did a day trip to Venice from here. Overall a great place to stay at a very good price!

Very well equipped and comfortable apartment, which is in a lovely quiet area. Sparkling clean pool at both the apartments and the sister hotel, which is 5 minutes walk from Acqua.

Spacious appartment with swimming pool and spa

A great appartment in a quiet location but within walking distance to the lake. The swimming pool looked maintained with lots of loungers, and some in the shade which I prefer. The reception speaks many languages and was clear and helpful. I would definitely come back.

Decent premises, good central location and helpful staff. We made several trips around the lake and to Sirmione, plus Verona and Bergamo. Just be aware as it is off season that many restaurants, bars and activities are closed. Not a criticism as such just a heads up. Plenty of things to do though....

Good value apartment

Good value apartment. Plenty of room, nice modern feel to it. Restaurants and supermarkets about 10 minutes walk away and bus stop for visits to nearby Sirmione, Pescheria etc about 15 minutes walk. Nice and quiet during the night - the double glazing really does work, as does the air conditioning. Able to use the facilities at Mistral Hotel (again about a 10 minute walk). Pool area here much nicer than the Acqua which is a bit cramped. Bikes available from reception if you don't want to do the walking and you don't have a car! Very safe area for cycling, lots of cyclists about, locals and tourists. Receptionists very friendly and helpful if you have any queries. Would recommend.

Great apartments, very friendly staff.

This was my first ever holiday abroad & I couldn't have asked for a better experience. We had a late arrival (10:30pm) so we collected our keys from the nearby (5 minute walk) 'Yachting hotel Mistral' which is part of the Aqua resorts chain (During the holiday we were also allowed to use the resources at Mistral hotels including their larger pool). On arrival to our apartment there was a lift for easy access which was very useful (especially when you have packed the kitchen sink!) & the apartment was very secure with large bolts inside the door. The apartment was clean, minimalistic & cool with 2 air conditioning units. The kitchen/dining room included a small freezer, a fridge, a hob with 2 rings, a table with 4 chairs & a sofa bed. The bathroom had a toilet, a bidet, a powerful shower and a large sink. The bedroom had a very large built in wardrobe/storage space, a telly, a small safe and a huge bed. The balcony had a small table with 2 chairs and a nice view of the surrounding houses. During our stay we traveled to Venice, Verona & nearby Simone which was very easy to get to using either the bikes from Aqua resorts or Mistral hotels (when they had run out at Aqua). The staff were friendly and approachable and we would definitely stay again. The only issues that we had were that there was only one bin which room service emptied once & the curtains in the bedroom were not very dark so the sunlight tended to wake us up early. All in all, a very good stay. Highly recommended!

lovely appartments with garden and pool

well kept, modern appartments with nice garden and v friendly helpful staff. Linked to a lakeside hotel 10 mins walk away with lovely pool, free bike use. We loved our stay. Only downside appartments opposite a blacksmiths and can be noisy in day. Kitchen equipment v basic but we managed fine. Thanks to all staff for lovely stay. We'll be back.

We stayed in aqua resorts for 8 nights and best hotel I've been to as I've been to Italy 15 times very nice area and easy transport very nice lake and very helpful staff and loved the pool and jacuzzi would recommend to anyone and very good price 5 star easy

Superb, modern apartments in a good location

The apartment we stayed in was on the 2nd floor, it was immaculate, couldn't fault anything. The hob took a bit of getting used to, but worked fine. The only thing I think the apartment could have had was an oven or microwave, as we tended to eat at the apartment in the evening as we found eating out quite pricey. It's amazing wat you can rustle up in a frying pan and a saucepan though!! The swimming pool was small but clean and not busy. We used the pool at the sister hotel, the mistral a few days as well. The lady on reception was friendly and helpful, nothing was too much trouble. The apartments are a bit of a walk to the old town of Sirmione, it took us about 50 minutes to walk there and a taxi cost around 20 euros each way. There is a local bus though that runs fairly regularly through the day which stops right by the apartments which we caught a few times. The apartments are about a 10 minute walk from the main road where you can get the bus to Verona and there is a large supermarket 10 minutes walk in the other direction. We would definately stay at the acqua resort again.

Lovely place to stay

We stayed in block 3 and found it very comfortable. I agree with others that a microwave would be handy, although we did not have a problem because we ate out every night. Reception staff very helpful and knowledgeable. The apartment is a short walk away from main road but we liked that, gave us time to walk off dinner. It's a bus ride or long walk to old town, but bus only cost about 3 euros for two of us and left from a stop very near apartments. It was hot during our visit so the air conditioning was a welcome relief.

Acqua Resorts is a modern and well maintained accomodation. AirCon is very good but free broadband is patchy. Broadband works better in rooms if you leave your door slightly open as there is s router on each level opposite the lift. Its a little far from Colombare centre where most restaurants and shops are. The appartment was a bit small for four guests self catering and the kitchen was basic, though that seems to be the norm in that area. The receptionist Emanualla was extremely helpful and friendly and you can also use the facilities of Mistral Hotel nearby as reception is closed from 11.30 to 4pm. The free bicycles are very handy. Although not a fault of Acqua resorts, the taxi availability later at night in Sirmione is dire and very disappointing. There are no taxi ranks, you just call a generic number and hope for the best. Its a terrible service for a location heavily dependant on tourism. Overall I would definately recommend Acqua Resorts as very clean, modern, adequately equipped and reasonably located, with very helpful receptionist with excellent english.

Good location great value.

Excellent apartment. Staff really friendly and speak excellent english. About 500 metres from parent hotel and lake on a quiet back street. With outside pool sauna and a 10 x 7 jacuzzi open all hours. Free wifi , 32 " lcd. Clean modern and spacious. Highly recomended.
