"We had a wonderful stay at Bugana. The view from our villa was absolutely beautiful, and the room felt very private and high-quality.
The Food: Breakfast portions are on the smaller side but always delicious. However, lunch and dinner were consistently amazing—some of the best food we had during our trip.
The Experience: Swimming in the warm, clear water at the beach was a highlight. We also took a boat tour; while it’s priced a bit higher than the public tours in town, the boat crew was incredibly helpful and knowledgeable, which made it feel worth the extra cost. We also highly recommend the Sipalay day tour—it was exceptional.
A Few Tips: The resort is secluded (about 15-25 mins from Sipalay town), so plan to eat most meals on-site. If you’re arriving in town, expect to pay around ₱300 per person for a tricycle to the resort. Also, if you have mobility issues, be aware there are a lot of stairs to the villas—you might want to request a lower-level room!"
