First, the good. We appreciated the excellent communication provided by the host. Overall, the resort is nice with good amenities (2 pools, a lovely restaurant with very good food and service, towel and lounge chair setups on the beach). The employees we interacted with were very nice and eager to be of assistance. The bed was comfortable. Plenty of towels were provided. The view is really nice and you're able to see both the ocean and the Intracoastal. Now, the not so good. The unit was not clean when we arrived - sandy floor, smeared/not clean countertops, cheez it crackers on the outside balcony floor and chair. There was a total of one coffe cup. This was relayed to the host the morning after we arrived and they promised to contact the cleaning staff. I'm sure they did but we didn't see anyone until 4p that afternoon. They offered a quick clean up which we declined due to our schedule. They promised to come back with additional coffee cups. That never happened so for 2 mornings my husband and i had to share a coffee cup.Also, the unit structure is strange in that there is a large threshold between the entrance/kitchen area and the living room. There is also a large threshold between the living room and bedroom.There is a washer but no dryer. That is mentioned in the description so that's on me for not noticing. Just weird to have a washer with no dryer.
