We stayed here on the first night of our honeymoon, after flying in from Australia. Check in was very quick and easy. Breakfast was very good and had a lot more than a standard continental breakfast. I was worried about the location but it was very close to restaurants, shops, hawker food etc. All staff were very friendly and helpful. I personally don't like only having a glass door to separate the hotel room and bathroom but that's just personal preference.
The Customer service here is excellent, the rooms are very modern and spacious. The free buffet breakfast is a mix of Asian and western which is all yummy. The location is only about 500m walk to the Outram MRT EW16 and easy to change lines to get anywhere. There are some restaurants pretty much just off to the side of Wangz that were packed with locals eating seafood. All the safe were great and made for a enjoyable stay!
We stayed for 2 nights en route to Cambodia We were met by very friendly reception staff who got us into a room in the morning which was appreciated. The room was lovely, clean with good shower We did not use as we walked 10 minutes to MRT but there was transport to get you there The hotel location is so easy to travel around on the MRT. Why pay more for a hotel when you can choose this one. Breakfast was surprisingly nice, we thought it was continental but we also had choice of bacon, eggs and hash browns If coming to Singapore again we would definitely stay here again
I stayed in the Wangz Hotel for two nights. There is really nothing bad to say at all. I arrived late in the evening due to my flight and got a friendly welcoming and check in. The room was amazing. Modern with great decoration and very clean. It was quiet and I could sleep without problems. The staff helped me out with all my questions regarding sightseeing, buses etc. My highlight: I was alone in Singapore and on the last day one of the front office managers accompanied me to China Town on his way home and showed me the best place to eat. What a service! I would recommend it to anyone who want value for their money.
We stayed at the Wangz hotel during the Easter break. This was part of our trip around Malaysia and Singapore. The hotel itself is very modern and in great condition. It is not a massive hotel with only 40 rooms so it is never overly loud, although we could hear the crying kid next door the first few mornings before they left. The breakfast was really nice. A good solid selection with eggs to order. A nice view from the restaurant as well. The location of the hotel was about a 10 min walk from the nearest tube station or a 2 min walk from the nearest bus stop. We preferred to get the bus as it was easier and still cheap. Just ensure you have change to pay with. The staff at the hotel were lovely. A very friendly welcoming was ready upon our arrival. You can tell this gentlemen has done his routine a few times before but it certainly adds to the experience and he makes the effort to get to know you name. Room was also cleaned daily but not to the same level as other hotels we had stayed in on this trip. A pleasant stay and it had everything that we needed.
Hotels in Singapore are expensive anyway, so it makes sense to get some value for your money too. Nominal rate is quite high, but low season or special offer is totally worth it. Staff is very nice and attentive, architecture beautiful and location is pretty good. We had very good sleep every night.
Artsy, modern, quaint and above all so comfy!!! The staff was great. They all know you by name on the first day. The room was chic and large, and airy because of the generous use of glass doors. Breakfast at the rooftop with a great view overlooking the city was awesome. I am usually not a breakfast person because I'd rather sleep loner, but even I made sure I get up earlier to go in the mornings. Since I was here for five days I decided to upgrade to the balcony room, and it was well worth it! The balcony was huge and at least half the size of the room. It made me so want to hang there every day when I came back from work! It's kind of personal preference but I kinda wished the bed was harder. Also wished the room service menu was a bit more extensive, And I noticed that the remote control to the tv was a wee bit dusty. But all in all, I WILL DEFINITELY COME BACK AGAIN! Thank you for all your love n care 😊
The front office manager Kevin Seah was very polite and helpful, he has good patient for helping us to map our trip traveling in Singapore city, made good recommendations for the local restaurants and shopping, hotel room was very modern style, very clean and comfortable, good service in restaurant, the breakfast provided different kind of western and Singaporean food, shuttle service was convenient and very close to mass transit railway, hotel is located very close to cruise ship terminal, we enjoyed our 2 nights stay in this hotel prior to our cruise trip starting from Singapore
We actually very satisfied with our 4 night stayed in Wangz, we were specially attracted by all those small decorations inside the hotel. Although most people said the location is convenient and walking distance to MRT, I would suggest to hv shuttle bus pick up from Outram park MRT will really make our stay become perfect! Overall I really like this hotel and would recommend to friends. Special thanks to the staff in the reception, they are very nice and helpful!
We stayed for 3 nights. The hotel is a medium size and is very comfortable. It is about 5 minutes away from the metro and 20 from Chinatown. Around the are good facilities like restaurants. We stayed on the 2nd floor. The room was spacious and very well equipped, though the noise isolation towards the outside is not that great and we could hear noise from the street at night. The breakfast was amazing and staff is very dedicated. Next time I will request a room on a more elevated floor. Overall a pleasant stay.
