Room was big and comfy. Hotel is at a great location, 2 mins walk there is a bus stop for going into many sightseeing locations and the subway station going direct to airport. 5 mins walk there is a local market with a big seond floor food hall for good local breakfast and lunch. Happy with my stay.

Breakfast was the best ever -- nothing "continental" about it: it was a FULL breakfast, served with beautiful smiles by the hostesses. There was erroneous information provided by the first desk clerk, advising that the Handyphone in our room could be used only for local calls. We found out on the LAST day of our stay that we could have called home to the United States for free!! The room was excellent, roomy and cool. Our only complaint is the lights over the bathroom vanity mirror could have been brighter, for shaving and applying makeup! We loved the area for inexpensive, yummy local food at the food court. Also the shopping was great and the promixity to the Hop On Hop Off shuttles and the subway was helpful.
I stayed at the hotel from Feb 26 to Mar 1, and overall it was very delightful. I give extra kudos to the staff (front desk, maid, restaurant) for excellent service and being super friendly. The artistic flare of the hotel is very enjoyable, plus the hotel is very comfortable. The restaurant on the top floor serves very delicious food at great prices too. The complimentary breakfast in the morning is very delicious as well as helpful to get you started off to explore Singapore. The hotel is close to Outram Park Station, plus very walkable to many sights in Singapore. They offer a complimentary shuttle to select points int he city, and that was very nice. I did use Uber for a few trips, but did most of my exploring by walking to/from the hotel. It is very close to Chinatown with all kinds of delicious food offerings. I had very early flight to catch and they made me a breakfast to-go box - THANK YOU! The only "issue" I had was I am a very light sleeper, and there is some traffic noise in the morning from the 2 roads that go around the hotel. Despite that, I would definitely stay here again on a future trip to Singapore. Thank you Wangz Hotel!

We paid a little extra for an upgrade to a deluxe room on the 2nd floor. This room was nice, but had a view of some messy backyards. At least we were not on the highway front, which is a major noisy thouroughfare. Wangz hotel is near a metro stop, but is otherwise out of the main part of town -- would suggest booking in the Marina area.
