I think we were upgraded to a better room because they weren't able to give us a twin bed room. Rooms are not rectangular but it surprisingly provides more space. The view was street view but no noise from the roads. Every corner in this hotel is artistically designed. The breakfast restaurant is small but staff are exceptionally warm too! They prepare your choice of eggs and hash browns upon your choice, make sure to serve fresh. It's actually a 10-min walk from the MRT, provided that you came out of the right exit. It took us 15 mins to find the way with the luggage though, and it'll take some time to find the hotel entrance. It's surrounded by very good local food places, like the tiny food street next to the hotel, and Tiong Bahru which was just 5 mins away. I regret that I didn't plan much time for Tiong Bahru --- it's such a beautiful historical place with truly love food and local prices! Ask the front desk staff for help. They are so nice that o thought I was in a BnB instead of a hotel. One of the staff that helped me a lot was Kevin Seah. He suggested shops to eat from his own opinions, which were never introduced elsewhere. It was such a nice chat time with him and other helpful staff.

My wife and i stayed here for 3 days and whilst they tried hard, there were just a number of small things that just didn,t work for us. It started on arrival, where we were the only ones checking in on Saturday afternoon, yet there was only one person o reception, and they were too busy answering telephone enquiries and questions then to process us. We ended up asking him to concerntrate on us - as we were standing in front of him and to forget the phones for 5 minutes. Next was the room. Nice for a single business traveller, or like us, a loved up couple, but having the toilet behind a glass door, does leave little to the imagination, and tha decor whilst modern and confortable, just didnt jel. The restaurant upstairs is great and the food is fantastic. Definitely the best part of this hotel. they try hard, but just not quite right.

Kelvin at the reception truly is the ambassador to this hotel.... Friendly, professional, enthusiastic and eager to give you all the information you need! Cristo in the restaurant is also a key advisor, courteous and always smiling making sure that everything is to your liking. Amazing breakfast, lot's of food and great staff

We recently stayed at the Wangz Hotel. Our accommodation was clean & comfortable and the staff were very friendly and helpful. Kelvin, Del & Bryan in particular were great. We recommend the Wangz to those looking for very good, yet reasonably priced accommodation.

Very good hotel, as the first contact when you walk in the door, Kelvin is professional, energetic and very helpful. The rooms are very good, beds comfortable, water pressure in the shower is strong and air-conditioning works perfectly. The breakfast in the rooftop is all you really need, I'm not a fan of the big buffet, so to get a freeshly cooked poached egg, cereal, yoghurt, fresh fruit is great for a healthy start. The biggest problem is the lack of pool, but I'm willing to forgive that because overall my stay was very good!

We stayed 2 nights at Wangz en route to Australia. Our stay here was excellent: the room was beautiful, quiet, the bed very comfortable. The restaurant for breakfast on the top floor is copious with everything you could want, offering a selection of Chinese, "continental" and English style dishes. On arrival, Del was very helpful and cheerful, which brightened us up after our long flight. We were greeted with a glass of orange juice while checking in, and Del explained everything fully. The room came with the loan of a smartphone that you can take with you and use as a gps with google maps, to find local information on Internet and even to phone home for free. This is a great asset! In the room the free wifi was fast. There are also free soft drinks in the room fridge. When we asked about travel in the city, Kevin came out of he hotel to show us where to get the metro (5minutes walk) and gave us a printed schedule for the bus (stop across the road), marking the stops we needed and showing us where to catch it. The restaurant staff at breakfast were numerous, and all greeted us with a smile, coffee and an offer to cook our eggs as we liked. The restaurant is on the top floor and offers views around the area. Try also the lunch opportunities at the nearby Tiong Bahru Market, as recommended by Kevin. In short, I think the services offered by his well-placed hotel are excellent, and the staff make the stay a wonderful experience. It is on our list for our next trip here.

Very good value and well located boutique hotel 7 mins walk from mtr rail and then quick travel to all tourist and business places. The staff in reception and at breakfast are very friendly, efficient and helpful. The place is modern, comfortable with thoughtful decor and furnishings. Our room 401 was quiet withvery little traffic noise. Highly recommended, We will return.

We had two nights at the Wangz prior to a Cruise, and would certainly stay there again. Great service and full breakfast. Complementary phone which also had data and you could take around town with you, water and juice in the room. Large room with large bathroom. Pearl Hill City Park close by if your into walking or jogging. One way Shuttle service out to Marina Bay.

This hotel was excellent. Arrival/check in was very quick, with the nice extra of a welcome glass of orange juice at reception. Our room was great; spacious, exceptionally clean, very comfy bed, great shower and free soft drinks and water in the fridge. Kelvin at reception provided and excellent service, thank you for your help. We particularly loved: the phone provided by the hotel that we could take around Singapore and use the data provided rather than our own phones, the food market that was walking distance from the hotel and that the hotel offers a weekday shuttle to the nearest metro stop and a few other locations. A taxi to the gardens by the bay was roughly 20 dollars. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay here and would certainly go back if we ever return to Singapore.

We stayed there twice during our trip around Asia and would definitely stay there again when we are back that way. On arrival we felt very welcome and were greeted with a lovely iced drink and had some fun banter with the Concierge who was hilarious! Our room was modern, spacious and clean and we were surprised to learn breakfast was included which was absolutely delicious up at the Roof top restaurant. On our third night when we returned to our room after a dinner out we noticed the air con in our room had stopped working and the team at Wangz promptly sorted the issue. My only (small) negative was the frosted glass partition wall between the room and the ensuite/wc - not quite enough privacy for me!
