First off, I don't know why this hotel was even rated as an Orbitz VIP hotel. There was not a single person who works in the hotel know anything about Orbitz. When I showed them the list of benefits, the only thing the staff was able to do was the free upgrade, which, in my opinion, the upgrade wasn't even worth it. I felt that my original booking for a regular room would be better based on the layout of the room. We were told to send an email to the hotel's management team to inquire about Orbitz VIP program. Guess what? No replies from them at all, and our reservation with them was more than 1 week. The room that we got "upgraded" to was an executive room with a mini bar. Yes, the drinks would be no charge to us, but it didn't help when the staff "forgot" to refill the drinks everyday. There were even 1-2 days when housekeeping didn't clean our room. Every single day, we would need to call the front desk to request drinks refill, to clean up the room, or to get bath towels. The room itself was not in a satisfactory conditions. I wish I can post more than 6 pictures here to show everyone. Stains, chips, dents on the walls, lots of dust in certain areas that housekeeping wouldn't bother to clean, shower door wouldn't close so water leaked all over the floor, lots of fruit flies in the bathroom that came from no where (we don't have food inside the room to attract them). Room size is too small for us typical "American" big size people... Definitely NOT an Orbitz VIP hotel!

Very tight space. Banged my head and foot few times.

A wonderful experience with minimal disturbances. Peaceful ambiance. Dont mind staying more nights.

Small bathroom, no bathtub. Room and towels not clean. Faulty bathroom door.

Really loved staying in Robertson Quay and the loft was a unique experience. Could not make breakfast at the hotel...but found out that across the street at the Book Cafe....they offer 30% discount for hotel guests at Studio M and food there is great. Only complaints i have is while in the swimming pool it started to rain....which was great, because i finally had enough room to swim laps. One of the staff kicked me out of the pool-said we can not swim when it rains out? In the safety regulation chart say's no swimming during thunderstorms-was not a thunderstorm...just rain. I did complain to him-told him it was stupid...i am in the pool and already wet and i could see if it was a thunderstorm with lightning? I was also kicked out of the fitness center [did not have the proper foot wear]. Wanted to scream at them to leave me alone...i am a grown adult...do not need a baby sitter...that i am a firefighter...certified e.mt....diver...etc..,can take care of myself.

I am a single traveler on business. The hotel is well located in the financial area. It is easy to find, well priced and clean. The rooms are nothing special, but it is practical and neat. The bathrooms are modern and there is good water pressure in the showers. It is not a hotel that I would recommend to people who are traveling with a family and will be spending a lot of nights in two, but for a quick trip to Singapore this is a very good deal and you don't sacrifice on cleanliness and location. Breakfast is also usually included as is a good wifi connection.

love the room the amenities the lobby, almost everything. The swimming pool are great. Breakfast is sucha good spread! Room rates are acceptable for the room. Will definitely come back pretty soon for fun! ((:

My experience was top class as all the problems I had were immediately solved by your staff who are top quality. I was visiting my daughter and all the time I spent in the hotel was top quality. I believe that all my needs were cared for.

Nice hotel with clean room and chic loft design. However room service was slow. There was a faulty bulb at the loft which they did not return to replace it.

Great location at quiet but hip Robertson's Quay, and near all the great stuff to do around the Singapore Marina. The room I stayed at was a 2-story one with a floor-ceiling window, great bed downstairs, seating/office are upstairs, with separate but en-suite cabinets for the shower and commode. Little bit cramped, but there was something appealing about the layout. Loved the simple, functional lap pool and great deck on the 2nd floor--nice!

A different style of hotel regards the room layout, it may not suit everyone but it was nice for a change from the norm. Checking staff were punctual and efficient, we had no problems getting all of that done. The room is small, being on two levels, the entry area does confront you immediately. Lots of negative comments about this hotel, but to be honest, it is not what everyone is used to, thereby suffering from negative reviews. We stayed for four nights and found it to be a pleasant experience. Our room had the bed upstairs and whilst it is small, it was comfortable. The location is excellent, 10 minutes to Clarke Quay and another few to the MTR. Taking a taxi anywhere is not that expensive if you are so inclined. Overall, the hotel lacks room space and that irks a few people as it is not the norm. But the room was ok, location great for what we wanted and it suited our needs. We did not use the pool or bar area, but it did look very inviting from above.

The accessibility is great for a busy schedule like me =)

I was disappointed by the loft concept. My room had the bed downstairs, the "sitting area" upstairs. The downstairs was just big enough for the bed. There was no reason ever to go "upstairs" other than to use the phone. The toilet was in its own room the size of a phone booth. It would have been better to put the bed upstairs. The room was very clean and the bed exceptionally comfortable though. The hotel is quite stylish. However, I'll stay next door at the Gallery hotel next time I'm in Singapore.

great hotel to relax. If like being near walking distance of restaurants then this is good. Running the waterway was nice. Short taxi to most locations. Centrally located.

We really enjoy our experience at Studio M. The location is great, downtown at Clarke Quay. The room was very clean, modern and the staff very polite and helpful. The breakfast was very good and generous. No doubt we recommend Studio M on Nanson Road.

Nice, Quiet; Japanese style hotel with small rooms, 2 floors. All Showers and water is on the first floor. The queen size bed and Flat screen TV are on the upper floor. Excellent, full window view. If you do not like steps when getting up in the middle of the night to go to the bath room, you may want to investigate another hotel. Breakfast is excellent. Staff is excellent. About a 20 minute walk to the nearest MRT (either Clarke Quay or Chinatown). Fantastic for restaurants since it is 2 minute from Robertson Quay & Robertson Walk. Excellent place to stay if you love to walk. You are less than 30 minutes from Orchard road, 20 minutes from the Singapore History Museum.

I was just there for a few vacation days. Charming, compact clean room, good service, at a good price, right at Robertson Quay, and in close walking distance to Clarke Quay. I would definitely stay here again and recommend it if you don't need a lot of space.

This hotel is about as centralized as it gets for the tourist attractions! We were a 15-20 minute drive from the airport and a 10 minute walk from the Clark Quay MRT station, not to mention a 5 minute walk to Clark Quay!! The hotel was very clean and the staff was incredibly helpful. The room itself was a little tight since the bed was on the first floor and there was a chair and end table on the second floor, but we were barely in the room anyway. I would say the only thing bad about the room was that there was no fan in the bathroom. There was a coffee shop on the first floor that was amazing as well! I would say this hotel is more than moderately priced, but if you're planning a trip to Singapore, you're going to spend a good amount of money anyway. For the location, staff and cleanliness I would say this place is well worth the money!

Studio M Hotel : Loft idea of bed on top and huge glass panels for the room was out of the ordinary.

Perfectly delightful if you primarily need a place to lay your head at night after exploring the city. Extremely clean rooms and cute overall concept. Hotel staff still working out the kinks in terms of being able to handle large crowds at check-in/check-out; also don't have full capabilities for business services (e.g., sending a fax). Great value overall for the price.
