Siloso Beach Resort, Sentosa

Overall, it seems that the hotel's pricing reflects its outstanding location and little else. Although there was nothing especially unpleasant about our stay (except, perhaps, the lack of any in-room WiFi), there really wasn't much to compel me to stay there again upon a return visit to Sentosa.

This hotel is very near Siloso Beach in Sentosa. It has a unique Eco-friendly approach. Nice setting and cool pool. Reasonably priced. Rooms are clean, though could use some freshening. Wifi is not available in rooms, which is not ideal. Overall, a good (and interesting) value for the price.

Hotel feels like it is set within a tropical forest just off the beach. Mobility is a must due to its spread out, multiple levels. There is also only air conditioning inside specific areas (reception, your room, etc). We really enjoyed our stay. The staff was incredibly friendly (especially Bala at the cafe) and the whole place just looks like it's set within paradise. We were also impressed by the eco-friendly nature of the hotel (eg toilet water is provided by a nearby natural spring). The rooms are a good size (especially for that part of the world). They are a little bare-bones, but absolutely have everything you need. I just wouldn't call them luxurious in comparison to some of the finer hotels on the island (which mind you, also cost at least double). We would absolutely recommend to friends and family.

We consider ourselves to be budget travelers. In all, it is a good value. Some of the resort is dated. Do not choose this resort if a pool is your passion

Wife and I loved the overall atmosphere of the hotel. It was disappointing that they were doing a lot of construction while we were there because this resort's emphasis on eco-preservation would have made for a very relaxing getaway. The rooms themselves were a little worn down, but nothing terribly bad.

The swimming pool was magnificent! We really enjoyed the water - they put salt in it rather than chlorine. A very nature-friendly place. They have a warmary where they create warms for soil fertilization.

Floor of room was dirty when we checked in. Breakfast wasn't excellent. The environment in overall is a nice place, however we see litter in the corridor bushes.

hotel is near the beach, and the swimming really nice

For the price it was average hotel in most catagories so i have no complaints. Best feature is no doubt location.Right across from Siloso Beach and along road that buses and trams get u around island.Did not like the bed much as was quite hard.Amenities were sufficient .Complimentary breakfast each morning was nice.Pool looked nice but chose to swim at beach. Staff were friendly. Allowed us to check in hour early. Value was good but only for reasonable price.

Room was decent enough and location was good, siloso beach was just minutes' walk away. Love the waterfall pool! :-))

Nice location, wonderful pool, great breakfast, but room not so great, didn't realize we booked the eco room which meant no room amenities.

Experience was good. The hotel location is good right across from the beach. The free beach tram and bus service was good and was for all people staying at the Sentosa island resort hotels.

The hotel needed more upkeeping. There was mold everywhere. In the bathroom, around the air vents, and on the appliances. For what you pay, you definitely do not get your money's worth.

This is my third time staying at this hotel. All three were with family and children. The staff were friendly and quick to respond to requests, The continental breakfast was fantastic and filling enough to skip lunch. I appreciate the "green" efforts taken and the information panels around the site about these elements. The rooftop is beautiful to relax any time of day or night. My only complaint is that each time i've visited, all rooms (5 total) had mild to moderate mold problems on celling, curtains, and/or bedspread. This was a concern as my husband and toddler have asthma. But, even i found myself with a stuffy nose at times in the room. Other than this, the rooms were clean and well organized. The pool (sigh, i wish i was there now)... and it's surrounding area is the main reason i go back. This 30-something metre saltwater oasis is made so children and families can hang by the slides and couples can have a quieter space farther down. With the lush greenery, pool, waterfall, and calm atmosphere, it is hard to imagine leaving to go to beach (even if it is 2 minutes away).

The room is small and humid, but the swimming pool is very interesting and the location is awesome, you can take the shuttle stop easily.

We have stayed at Festive Hotel, Sentosa last year, however my child was happier at Siloso Beach Resort Sentosa, which has an easier access to the beach and surrounding entertainments.

Perfect Place.

I Had a very pleasant time there! it was very quiet great views and the room service was quick and proficent.

Close to the beach, which was good. Limited menu selection in the restaurant and expensive, a negative. Room service was slow and had to call several times to get what we requested. The rooms we booked were very small and had to upgrade which was an additional cost. We vacationed in Malaysia in March and stayed at a hotel where the rooms cost about the same, but the service was superb. There were unlimited dinning options in and around the hotel all within walking distance. The breakfast menu was very good and offered a variety of fruits etc. This hotel the morning menu was very limited and exactly the same the whole time we were there. We quit going to breakfast (even though we paid in advance)as we went into the city to buy food to eat. Our stay was during the New Year holiday. They had a "New Year's eve beach Party" on the island where the hotel was located. The entire beach area was closed off and you could only access it if you paid. I would think as a hotel guest paying to be close to the beach I would have been able to access the beach at any time during my stay. My wife and I wanted to walk on the beach and enjoy the night with the children. We were told we had to pay for access and the children were not allowed as they were not 18 yrs or older. I expected more for the price.

Explored the island and all that it has to offer. Get hotel service and location. I wish the spa would have been completed before we left. That would have been great to stay in the hotel to get massages
