Check out the buffet at the Dining Room if you are looking for a premium quality buffet. 5 of us were there, 2 nights ago and we ate to our heart's content. It has one of the freshest seafood of Oysters, Prawns and Salmon Belly Sashimi. The oysters are big, succulent & has a creamy texture. I like that the oysters are shucked upon patrons' request so as to maintain ultimate freshness:)) We were told by Executive Chef, Eric Cheam that the oysters are from Canada. Chef Eric also recommended a few " must try " like cereal chicken & the interesting salted-egg fondue. The salad counter has a healthy spread of greens like Kale, Baby Spinach & Quinoa. There is generous spread of mini cakes, pre-portioned desserts in shot-glasses and pralines to satisfy the sweet-toothed individual without the guilt of over indulging. The delectable food, the attentive and unobtrusive service staff and a creative Executive Chef certainly makes our dining experience on 15 Nov 2017 a delight! Esther See
I've been staying here a couple of nights a quarter for almost a decade. Continue to be impressed with location accomodations and staff. The Just off Orchard Road location is convenient including 200m walk from Newton Station. Executive Lounge on 3 and Pool on 5th floor are helpful for business travel. Pricing is relatively inexpensive compared to those hotels on Orchard Road. Join Starwood SPG program for Loyalty. Good luck and enjoy!
Duration of Stay: 2 nights Room location: 21st floor Room type: Twin-Bed Location: Next to Newton MRT station, new Newton Circus food center. One stop away from Orchard shopping area. Plenty of buses that go to various area around Singapore but it's convenient to go anywhere with the DT and NS MRT line right next door. Room: Got the highest floor with a nice unblocked view of housing area. Room is classic and could do with an improvement. Bed quality is decent. Cleanliness is good and every amenities are sufficiently available. Meal: Breakfast selection is up to Sheraton usual standard. Did not try room service nor other restaurants in the hotel Overall: A nice decent hotel in Singapore. Thanks to BRG by SPG, my room rate was 215SGD/night NET. I find this room rate is worth its value.
This was our first visit to this property and we were not disappointed. We received an upgrade on arrival which is always a bonus. The staff were friendly and courteous. The club lounge was beautifully appointed and relaxing. We would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone wanting to experience Singapore at its finest.
Sheraton towers severed some of the best food I ever tasted food is all good quality , and it’s really nice here , it’s a very good places to chill and the chefs and stuff is really nice, especially Chef Aswad
A wonderful experience at an iconic brand. Keeps the Sheraton name flying. Wonderful staff. Mr Ismail at the concierge is just awesome. Breakfast menu is wonderful spread with ever-helping staff. Rooms are spacious for Singapore standards.
I come to this place frequently to meet my clients and business associates because the staffs here really make me feel special. The doorman will open the door for me and the waitresses here are so very nice and friendly especially Susan... she even remember my name and my favorite drinks. I feel so at home. Strongly recommended.
On paper this hotel is actually a 5 star hotel, but in practice this is most definitely not a 5 star hotel. The prices are sometimes higher than at other Starwood Group hotels, which are way nicer, such as St.Regis. This hotel is very outdated and the rooms and bathrooms are slightly old and smelly. You feel like you got stuck in the early 90s somehow. Also the reception and and concierge feels like it is a very basic 4 star hotel used for conventions or as a corporate hotel for airlines etc, where you often have to queue to speak to someone. Also in terms of the location, the hotel is at the other end of Scotts Road, and not very centrally located. Takes several minutes walking to reach Orchard and if you do not want to sweat in the heat, one still needs to take a taxi to go anywhere. There is an MTR (public metro line) station close to the hotel, but if you are paying 250-600 dollars a night, you might as well take a taxi, unless its rushhour. Travelled here in 2015 I believe. Recently tried to stay here again as I thought it may have improved, but after checkin in and arriving in my room, I called the front office and requested to check out again and cancel my reservation, which they did. The front office manager or duty manager handled the situation quite well and tried to show me some other rooms and in the end aborted the reservation.
Hotel was very relaxing and the staff in lounge is friendly, first floor lounge ladies (Susan, Princess, Lillian and Nina) were very informative about good eats around town and also got me discount for being a platinum member. Thank you!
This is confirmed to be my fav hotel for short stays. It has consistently great service, quiet, clean and everything on time. Great value for money! I love the area, Scotts road both close to everything yet no hustle around it.
