Resorts World Sentosa - Festive Hotel5.0 out of 5.0

This is a 5 stars hotel resort in Sentosa. I've been to Hard rock and Michael. This one is the worst. Extremely disappointed. Front office is rude and uninformative. Bed sheets is old and got staines. Towel is smelly. Room is dusty and humid. The good thing is only it has sofa bed and bunk bed.
better than expected! was welcomed by a rather rude staff but the rest of the staff were exceptional..just a case of bad apple..room was clean and cosy..it is as if the room was recently refurbished.. really enjoyed our stay! .
Went for a short staycation and first time staying at Festive hotel to try out family room as I have 3 kids. As my kids have eczema, I do appreciate having nice clean crisp white sheets of hotel rooms. However, I was sorely disappointed by the state of Linen used in the hotel. For two days in a row, I had sheets with dried up blood stains :( The staff were kind enough to arrange for a room with bath tub for us on our request and this is always the part our kids look forward to on our vacations. They also kindly arranged for baby bath tub for our 4 month old upon my request. Hygiene problems again as anti-slip mat was dirty with black algae and had ants and some unknown worms crawling on them to our horror..baby bath tub also had black algae or mould on them. In the end we just gave baby a quick shower instead of soaking him in his routine bath oil bath (baby has eczema too). Toilet also had a funny smell and not as welcoming as I hoped for it to be. Location and view from room was great. Room came with a balcony and we could even catch a glimpse of the Merlion from our room. Would have really been a much better stay if not for the hygiene issues though. Guess I was expecting more from RWS as we had a much more pleasant stay at Hotel Equarius a few years back. Most likely won't go back to this hotel again.
We stayed with my 6year old and 3 year old in their Family Room for 3 nights.. Amazing room, everything was well managed.. Courteous staff.. Close to the attractions and hence big positive.. For Food, we went to the common area where we found various options including Mc Donalds, Bali Thai and many more who could serve veg food.. Great trip and great place to stay..
We love to bring our kids and folks to local hotel for a short stayca. Usually the rooms can only fit in the most 2 adults and 1 kid but in Festive Hotel, the Family Deluxe Room is built for family with 2 - 3 kids. I am so glad to have brought my family there over the last weekend! We were lucky as the rooms were ready for early check in at 2 pm instead of 3pm. We had a pool view and the balcony was spacious enough to hang around. There was a king size bed for me and my husband, a sofa bed for my 6 years old girl and a loft bed for my 10 year old boy. Everyone was happy with their bed for the 2 nights. The toilet comes with a bathtub and it was well furnished. Toiletries are provided for 3 guests. A pity that we couldn't head over to Hard Rock Hotel for a swim as they recently stopped this collaboration since February 2017. The hotel is 5-7 minutes walk from Monorail station, Universal Studio, Sea Aquarium and F&B outlets. Nearest beach is 2 monorail stations away. I will recommend this hotel to family with young children for sure! Tips: Request for the kids-size bathrobe and bedroom slippers if you do not see any in the wardrobe
This is our first night of a two-night "staycation", as we live in Singapore and this quick break was to take our two kids to the Resorts World attractions, specifically Universal Studios. Pros: - Super friendly staff, who are efficient, and mostly know their stuff. - The kids love the bunk bed and even the sofa made up as a bed. - The high ceilings add space to what would be a small room. - There are bathrobes, (thin) slippers, toothbrushes, shower cap, a vanity kit with cotton balls, nail file and ear buds. - Tea/coffee making facilities include packets of Milo. - (this could be Con for some) The mini bar is empty for you to fill with your own beverages. Cons: - The biggest negative is the cleanliness in our Family Room. On first look everything seems clean enough. Then you notice the dust crusted in the lamp fittings, the smell of the shower curtain, even the dirt embedded in the tread of the ladder leading up to the bunk bed, and on the telephone. There are old stains on the curtains, near the toilet flush button, on the sheets... Housekeeping needs to go through these rooms for a major Spring Clean. - The restaurant downstairs, Pappa Mia, serves tasty SE Asian food, but strangely enough, takes last orders at 8.30pm, which is extraordinarily early. We saw a family, who just wanted ice-creams, turned away dead on 8.30pm. Another couple was told to go elsewhere at about 8.45pm. Making money is obviously not a priority for this outlet. - Last big peeve is the lack of free wifi in the bedrooms. You get it downstairs in the lobby area, but I don't see why this service can't be extended to hotel guests in the rooms that they paid for. I am in fact, writing this review using my own data, that's how strongly I feel about Festive! I checked-in not expecting too much, and so far, I have been surprised by the quality of the service by front-desk staff, concierge and even the bellhop, and the response time of Housekeeping in making up the sofa bed and changing the shower curtain. A thorough clean would make a world of difference. A more comprehensive room service menu, would be nice too.
Festive Hotel is a family oriented and child friendly hotel. At the reception area, there's a Lego store by the side which appealed to many of the children. Check-in time was quite efficient and fast. Our deluxe room is located at the highest level with pool view. The room is quite spacious and furnished with modern facilities, like the king size bed, bathroom, LED TV with international channels, electric kettle, safe deposit box and bar fridge. Complimentary bottled drinking water, instant coffee and Milo are provided as well. There's a balcony too, which you get to see the pool area.
I've checked in here twice. First in a standard room, and the second time is in a family room. Well i can say that the family room is much more better and bigger. I love the concept of the interior and i love their curtains color as well. The family room we had provide 1 queen and a single bed on the second deck. Room is very clean and got attached balcony as well. Really good for family. Surprising also to have your name on the tv, with the menu available and many options of movie, but chargeable though. Only problem is some beddings doesn't seem clean and a bit smelly like never dry well. Corridor along the rooms are nicely designed as well. Swimming pool seems nice and private though we didn't manage to swim. Hotel location is very convenient. It's within the Resorts World nearby most of the attractions, casino and restaurants. Just quite far only on the beach site. Overall is very good experience. Will definitely go back again. ☺
We booked adjoining rooms for our extended family. The kids had so much fun going up and down the upper deck bed. Pros 1. The size is good for family of 4 2. Hotel is within walking distance from major Rws attractions 3. Check in and out was a Breeze and they even gave my girl a kids pack. 4. Staff are friendly and Housekeeping dept is always quick to respond. Cons 1. Our rooms are at the end of a very Long corridor. Probably all the family rooms are placed there. So it's kinda inconvenient for the old folks and the kids after a Long tiring day out 2. Bathroom is clean but shows signs of use like chips on the tabletop, stainings etc Overall: we had fun and will return
Room was decent and the furnishing details seemed to be more suitable for families with kids. Ease of access to nearby attractions and staff were friendly & helpful. Front office efficiency in regards to waiting time for checking in & out for guests could be improve though.
