It was a pleasant 3 nights stay at this hotel. The pool was ideal was relaxing and not as crowded as other infinity pools. The gym was small, but it had the necessary equipment for a quick workout. The hotel room was located outdoors, if you will, it was probably an attempt to conserve energy (no air con) and was nice to see the surrounding area. The room itself is well designed, wood furnishings, ample supply of complimentary water and amenities. The only drawback was that there was no radio or portable speakers - this was slightly strange in a modern hotel, but other than that, it was a pleasant stay.
Good hotel and the best service, from check in to concierge to restaurant staff to maintenance staff. Nothing was ever too much trouble. The star performer was Serene in the Orchid Club Lounge who effortllessly remembered our every preference! The hotel is next to Chinatown if that's your thing. Plenty of nice, comfortable spots to sit and read (which is my thing). Our room was very comfortable, with a decent cityscape view. The Lime Restautant served me the only decent cappuccino I have had in Singapore!
1st, on my arrival, the room was not ready, and check in time also took very long. 2nd, the cleaning service was not properly done, some spot like toilet was not 100% cleaned or it was being missed out. Despite those points, overall was fine
I love hotel design and location. Room quite comfortable and room service is nice. Other services of hotel also good. One time, i met a room sevicer seems to be a down symtom man. He is very nice & well service. I am ver impressive with this human-being from hotel to give such person a chance to work. I decide that once i come to S'pore, Park Royal Pickering is my first priority hotel.
Wow amazing hotel and service. We arrived at 8am after a 12 hour flight from Copenhagen, needless to say we were pretty tired. The room wasn't ready but they did there best to find a room and prepare asap, within an hour we were in our room. Large spacious room we very comfortable king bed, bed was so good was thinking about investing in one, however I forgot to get the name of the bed. Very clean and contemporary fitout. The hotel is a Eco property in a great location walking distance to many restaurants, bars and public transport. Fantastic gym and infinity pool with views over the city. We paid for access to the lounge and believe the money was well worth it. Pros Location, rooms, bed, Gym, amazing service. Cons Really cannot think of any.
This absolutely unique hotel with its hanging gardens is the best hotel we have ever stayed at. The Japanese influenced design of the rooms is unique. We found the hotel absolutely faultless, and the staff are friendly and extremely helpful and efficient. The location is great being in the heart of Chinatown yet also so close to Clarke quay.
We stayed there for 3 Nights. Comfy beds, quiet spacious rooms for Singapore. Breakfast is good, a wide selection of western and asia food provided. On Sunday we had to queue for about 20min to get a table! Never had that in such a hotel. Gym is rather small and basic but clean. Nice pool area. Highly recommandable for business and leisure.
I was staying at the hotel for several days during a conference in Marina Bay Sands. The Parkroyal was not cheap but much more cheaper than MBS Hotel. And with a taxi not too far away from MBS. The location is downtown, a lot of stuff to see just in walking distance. The room was very comfortable, space is okay but everything well equipped and modern. Staff is polite and very helpful for both hotel and restaurant. The food - especially buffet for breakfast and dinner - was excellent but unfortunately also costly (but worth it if you do not want to go out). The hotel itself looks fancy, lots of plants growing up outside. They have a nice infinity pool - not on top level like MBS but with a very good view as well. I had a Thai massage there which was excellent. All in all an almost perfect stay. I will definitely join this hotel again in my next trip to Singapore.
came here for a staycation, loved the beautiful decor and layout, its accessibility to lots of great food and nightspots, and many more. some areas for improvement as well, all summarized below: pros: - beautiful use of greenery throughout the hotel - infinity pool and view - well equipped gym - large ceiling to floor windows that give natural light to the room - nifty day and night sun shades to tweak the lighting of the room - nifty lighting, hooks, and other well-thought designs within the room - granted late checkout of 3pm - granted a room upgrade - friendly and personal counter staff (Yan Ting) that helped with the check-in, our bags, and check-out - 2 free parking coupons a day cons: - at the stipulated 2pm check-in time, room was still not ready - near 2pm, the counter staff were rather shorthanded (numbers reduced from 3-4 to 1, slowing down the check-in process) - pest control staff was knocking on our door at 330pm, after we had checked-in at 245pm, to see if he could do some spraying in our toilet. my partner had left for the gym, while i was taking a quick 15min power nap before a business meeting later at 430pm in the area. rudely awakened, i stumbled towards the door, and heard the staff asking for permission to enter, and what sounded like the scanning of his access card to enter my room. i quickly bolted the door, and told him to wait a second while i put on a t-shirt, but eventually told him to come back the next day, to which he agreed and walked off. - pool closes at 10pm apparently - rudely asked about our room number when at the pool after 10pm (granted that the pool is closed, but no signs nor prior information that the pool closes at 10pm for cleaning were put up or informed, and the service staff could have used more tact in engaging the guest on the issue; we really wanted to take down her name, but decided to walk away instead to salvage an otherwise perfect night) - pretty pricey, but justifiable by its good location
The park royal is a wonderfully luxury hotel, not cheap, but you very much get what you pay for! Not too long from the airport and staffed by very friendly, helpful people, who even helped me get back to my room after I was locked out in my underwear!! I would very much recommend a stay here, the food, rooms and facilities are of the highest quality and it is a brilliant place from which to explore the surrounding city.
