Rated as a 4* property but personally think there are better 4* properties in Singapore. The size of the room was good but the overall quality and furnishings were a little dated. The Swimming Pool was large in size but had pretty limited seating for users. Location is ok, good for those wanting the shopping experience of Orchard Road but quite far away from Marina Bay Sands locality.

Great base for a 48 hour stopover in Singapore. Easy bus or train from the airport and hotel had everything we needed nearby. Great size room with plenty of room for luggage and a big bathroom.

He was instrumental in offering us an upgraded room deal, which turned out to be a great value. His warm welcome truly set the tone for our stay. Improved Connectivity from Parking to Lobby We recommend enhancing the safety and convenience of the route from the parking area to the main lobby, especially for guests unloading baggage. The current path involves navigating several steps and crossing traffic from the multi-storey car park, which requires extra caution. Toilet Hygiene Enhancements For improved hygiene and guest comfort, we suggest installing bidets in the toilets. The absence of this feature makes it inconvenient, as guests resort to using containers, which can lead to wet floors and discomfort. Toilet Paper Quality We also recommend upgrading the quality of toilet paper provided. A softer and more durable option would greatly enhance the overall guest experience.

A great choice

Choosing a hotel among the myriad on offer in Singapore can be a shot in the dark, so we had no idea before staying what it would be like. Our two short stays at the Orchard Rendezvous in the space of 3 weeks however have made sure this will be an easy choice the net time we visit the country. The staff were invariably friendly, polite and professional. On our second stay, we were given a room that, although comfortable, spacious and clean, had no daylight, so when we requested a change the front desk staff went to the length of upgrading us to a higher category room as there was no availability in the category we had booked. Details like that made our stay a real pleasure. Combined with the very convenient location for both shopping and walking around the Botanic Gardens, the close proximity of buses and MRT station AMD the excellent service, this hotel seems pretty ideal as a base to see Singapore from.

Rooms are a bit dated and we had to wait approximately 10 minutes for hot water to come through for showers. Apart from feeling like we are wasting water it was ok. All in all it is a nice place to stay and great location. We would return.

We did advance booking and made a special request for the view and level, which made the stay very convenient. Calls to the reception often got unanswered but in person the staff were very helpful with all requests.

Room was a bit outdated or at least the room design but bed was comfortable with amenities such as mini fridge and kettle with tea and coffee. Nice swimming pool. There is currently ongoing construction nearby which can be noisy during the day. Note we got a lower price room on the lower floors which could explain the experience since an acquaintance of ours had the higher price and floor ones and have a better room experience.
