Naumi Hotel

4.5 out of 5.0

There was a party on the roof which is so noisy that you can't rest well. The water leaked from the shower room so your floor will be flooded a bit. Cheap quality and feeling once you get inside the hotel. Hand towel was dirty and you could see the dirt not cleaned off properly. This is probably a 3 star hotel, not really a 4.5 star. Probably not what you would expect for the price you paid.

We loved staying here for a couple of nights. The staff was friendly and the hotel room and facilities were great - modern, with a bit of an edge. The infinity pool with views over the city was fantastic, and I was shocked not to see more people there (maybe because the bar wasn't in operation?). It is advertised as a 5* hotel, but there's.. just a few things that aren't quite 5*. For example: there is no one outside the hotel welcoming you in - when we arrived we thought we were walking through the restaurant with our bags in order to check in; the check-in desk is hidden away, which is fine, but it just seems a little odd - space is at a premium, I guess; Staff are great and attentive, but they're not too proactive in engaging with you - an extra recommendation/tip here and there would have been great; rooms are small, and the decoration is nice, but nothing that takes your breath away when you walk in. Overall it was great, but leaves a slight feeling that with a few tweaks here and there, it could have been perfect.

This is our 6 th stay and it is good to see that the standard of accommodation and service has remained excellent. Highly recommend the Indian restaurant downstairs-whilst it may be cheaper to go to Little India- the quality is fantastic and very authentic. Cloud 9 bar and bar are stand outs as is the location.

If you seek small high-end boutique hotels rather than high-end chain hotels, you will love Naumi. It's in the perfect location to walk to major areas in Singapore and has a very good restaurant serving beautifully crafted Indian food. In addition, what makes Naumi such a nice place to stay is the staff; very polite, kind and helpful, without the attitude some of the high-end chain hotels seem to think is good service. Cheers

A very nice hotel, location top. The rooms are modern and cleverly furnished. The minibar is for free and is filled every day with sodas and plenty of water. The rooftop has a breathtaking view and an infinty pool. You can chill there at night . I would absolute recomend this hotel. And it is half the price of the big hotels in town. Short walk to MRT and some Malls

We booked this place for New Years, so that we would have a view of the fireworks in the marina. However at 8:30pm while lounging by the pool, we saw a sign that said we had to have reservations in order to attend the New Years party at the pool. When I booked the reservation for the hotel there was no mention of the new years party, so we were kicked out of the pool area and were not able to watch the fireworks after all!! Major disappointment considering we were spending a $1000 to stay there for a few nights. Also there was a strange sewage smell in the bathroom, that came from the shower.. Gross!! The only upside was the continental breakfast in the morning was pretty impressive. I wouldn't stay there again.

We stayed here for 4 nights on a recent trip to Singapore. The hotel is in a great location, just behind Raffles Hotel. The Metro is nearby and most sights are within easy walking distance. Our hotel room was lovely and bigger than expected. Nice touches such as a Nespresso machine and free soft drinks were appreciated. The view from the rooftop pool and bar is stunning and we spent many nights here after dinner! Only complaint is that it was closed a couple of times for private functions which seemed a bit unfair for residents when that’s the best feature of the hotel. We also felt the service from the barman was a bit haphazard and the cocktails were disappointing- Tess Bar next door does amazing cocktails!! Overall based on location and style of the hotel we’d recommend but think improvements could be made to the rooftop bar. We didn’t eat in the restaurant as it’s essentially in the hotel lobby and Singapore has so many great restaurants we wanted to go out and explore!

This is a great little hotel - very modern, like new rooms and a very friendly staff. We found it to be a nice location away from the big hotels so that we could see a bit more of Singapore without being in the midst of all of the tourist activities, even though we are also tourists. I'll note that is within a block of Raffles and a new WeWork is being built next door. For people wanting a local but American style breakfast, there is a Clinton Street Baking Company restaurant just a block over that is really good and seems to attract mostly locals. We'll definately consider going back here for business or vacation.

Stayed for three nights and absolutely loved every night. Every inch of the interior is modern and funky. The room was gorgeous and included all these awesome features: - a floating vanity sink and mirror - separate shower/toilet with glass that frosts at a switch - a huge tv with easy to use Apple TV - a blind operated by a switch - a huge bed with super soft bedding - a complimentary mini bar with soft drinks, coffee and tea topped up every day - a delicious brand of coffee called Hook to use in the Nespresso machine provided - lovely T2 tea bags - very nice Soak toiletries made with superfoods (the parsley shower gel is especially nice The rooftop pool was insane. A lovely quiet place to go drink your morning coffee and hear the distant noises of the city. Beautiful view of the CBD, Raffles and Chijmes. Bar service up there before 5:30pm is via the phone and is very fast and easy. Staff were lovely. They would do anything to make sure your stay was the best it could be! Very easy location with a quick and easy walk to both Esplanade and City Hall SMRT stations. Not a long walk to the CBD, Boat Quay or Marina Bay either. Lots of local restaurants along Seah St or Purvis St for a nice dinner. Would recommend this hotel to anyone and everyone.

We (German-Singaporean couple) held our Wedding Cocktail party at Hotel Naumi Rooftop Bar, and couldn’t have chosen a better venue in terms of location, ambience with amazing skyline in backdrop, personalized planning and coordination of the event, as well as excellent hospitality from hotel staff. Planning and Event Organization: The event was held in October, but we first reached out to the Event Sales team in April to start initial discussions and check possibilities. As we are not based in Singapore, we only had limited face-to-face meetings in the months before the wedding, but Naumi’s staff was nevertheless very responsive and reliable in making the event coordination run smoothly. Trust was built up right from the beginning as we were introduced to the lead staff, who would also be running our event. Needless to say, they were very accommodating with regard to our requests for food, drinks, venue set-ups, evening programme and room reservations for our foreign guests. Cocktail Party: Naumi’s rooftop is a hidden gem in Singapore. As it is usually only open to either hotel guests or to private events, it is not that well known in Singapore. Nevertheless, we found it perfect for our event. Intimate crowd size, open rooftop with a little breeze makes it very pleasant at night, the skyline in the backdrop and the pool provide an amazing ambience. The venue is suited for up to 50 people. Naumi’s liquor license runs till 12 midnight so please bear these constraints in mind. As it was a cocktail and canapes event, we had Naumi replace most of the usual sit-down furniture with cocktail tables. The canapes (indian fusion cuisine) were delicious and nicely displayed – they were a refreshing change from usual western-styled canapes. Our foreign guests particularly enjoyed them. We had a pre-selected drinks menu (alcoholic and non-alcoholic), and when having agreed to buy the alcoholic drinks by the bottle, they were quite reasonably priced by Singapore standards. Integrated speaker system for music is also available. As there is a pool, it is up to you whether you want to use it at your party…. 😉 The overall feedback we received from our guests that it was an amazing and very memorable party, and a nice change to the usual ballroom-type weddings in Singapore. Overall Service Experience The high standard of service we experienced during the planning stage was also matched by the execution throughout the event. They delivered on every promise made, so that w
