I lived at this hotel 3 years ago and rebooked this hotel for my Singapore trip with family. I have to say their service and amenities got significantly worse than 3 years ago. Amenities are not getting well maintained, all incidents on google reviews are true
1. Poor AC, first night AC was not working. We had late night flight and they were unable to fix it right away. We waited until the next morning and hotel gave us free breakfast and got it fixed. In Singapore, it was hot; AC is very important, this really shocked us.
2. Room lock - room lock ran out of battery, we could not get in, and we have to ask technician to exchange battery
And 3rd day, my mom was locked from inside. You can get into the room from outside, but we cannot get out of the room. We reported and luckily we headed to dinner and night garden visit. They fixed that during our outing
3. Cleaning - no cleaning at all at 6pm for consecutive 3 nights. We just want to rest. So we exchanged the towels with janitor only. (We did not use their vanities and coffees)
4. Poor staff communication - you need to stick with one staff and get things fixed before his shift is done, otherwise, you need to restart again. (Staff did not leave notes or do anything during shifts)
5. Elevator was not working - yes, rumors from online are true. You might occasionally got locked at elevator with no AC
6. Room - curtain has multiple holes
Anyway, it was a totally different stay than 3 years ago. I hope this hotel can improve
