I booked on-line with the hotel directly. Was given a guaranteed early check-in, that was really great for me. Room was on 16th floor and a very good room. Very clean hotel, very friendly and courteous staff, and minimal amenities I would add. No complains here. Why am I giving it 4 stars: The room was too cold, the thermostat was not working. When I complained, they sent a service person over who insisted the thermostat was working all right -- if I was cold I should just turn the air-conditioning off. He would not listen. So I just let him go. The hotel should hire more competent staff on this end and keep the property better maintained. Similary, they could use newer and better towels and provide more soap etc. in the rooms without I having to ask for them. Very good hotel otherwise. Staff is great.

We have stayed here before and asked to stay again primarily for the location, unfortunately it has gone down a bit from our last visit. Location with in easy walking distance of many places to see and eat also MRT 50 meters down the road. As a repeat customer we got an upgrade to the 16th floor with terrific views. Good buffet breakfast. The place is looking tired really needs a spruce up especially the rooms. We stayed for 4 nights our mini bar was not restocked or though we did leave a note requesting it be and there was no bottled water which we have found standard in most S.E.A. hotels. We love the location but would hesitate to stay here again.

First time stay at this hotel, get a recommended from my brother..first, a good thing : strategic location, near bras basah MRT & bugis area, have a nice room, breakfast so standard with no much choice. Second, a bad thing : at the room they dont give you mineral water for a compliment, next a staff is not friendly especially to kids, i bring my boy to breakfast and he play chopstick and then a hotel's staff just directly take a chopstick from my boy and make him cry..OMG that so rude. The staff speak chinese which i dont understand, i think he cant speak english. So i observed all staff in there, i think they never smile, so make a guess uncomfortable.

I booked my hotel though a Singapore Airlines Singapore stopover package. This was excellent value for my 2 night stay and I was pleased with the comfort and quiteness of my room and the excellent location close to the renowned Bugis St shopping centre. The buffet breakfast in the hotel was good. My only small disappointment was that my room had not been cleaned when I arrived back at 4.00pm after exploring the city and I had to call housekeeping to get the room serviced. Overall though I would recommend this hotel and stay there again.

Centrally located hotel in Singapore, 1 minute walk to Bras Basah MRT station, two things which I didn’t like about the hotel is breakfast and check in time. Check in time took approx 45 minutes and our room wasn’t ready at the time we arrived after 11 hours flying which was very annoying, breakfast has many options but it was hard to eat specially for Muslims, basic things like cheese wasn’t available and other available types were bad, breakfast is not recommended in the hotel unless u eat rice and noodles morning time! Overall rate is hotel is 8 out of 10.

Hotel royal is a good place to stay if you want a quiet night where there is not much noise at night. Very close to SMRT station and there is a 7eleven at the station. To find good place to eat you will need to walk a little bit but not too far. If you’re like me who loves to have a little run at night then it’s a good place to start where you can go to garden by the bay and return. The pool is a little small though. Other than that the room is clean and comfortable.

We stayed at this hotel for six nights. We found it to be clean and pleasant, we included the buffet breakfast in our booking which was good value, while the selection did not change in you didn’t graze the entire buffet each morning then it was possible to have something different each morning. The eggs to order station was great fried eggs and omelet was on offer. The beds were a bit firm but not too uncomfortable, the pool was adequate for a refreshing did and the jacuzzi jets were just the thing for aches after walking too far. All in all an enjoyable stay and the close proximity to the MTR and many other points of interest was very convenient.

Now I can not fault the staff at the Queens Royal in Singapore , The gentleman who was the Porter was very helpful most nicer guy that I had come across. The only downer here was the bar the lack off, choice of drinks was down to 2 beer or wine , Sad as we had to go down the road to have a drink . The room was great pickup and drop off to and from the air port was great even the female who was at the air port for Singapore airlines who was our link to the hotel was very nice , So summed up the only thing was a let down was the so called bar or the lack of.

👌👌👌👌The hotel is near the subway and bugi's shopping centre. Staff are friendly and helpful. Rooms and bathing facilities are neat. Safe to walk to and from the hotel at night. Enjoyed our three night stay here.

I spent 2 nights for conference with my colleague. The hotel is located in walking distance to Bras Basah station (about 2 mins walk) the room is quite big with working space. Bathroom is clean. There is hair dryer provided. There is a fridge in the room but no free water. 2 Bottle of water cost you 1 SGD which is quite new to me. Breakfast is quite variety with ok quality. The gym is small, only 2-3 people fit in there.
