I did not like how there is no outlet for charging any electronics. Everything else was okay.
Very helpful staff. Comfy beds. Great location with access to Riverwalk, Merry Lion comedy club, 1-Altitude, and quite a few food hawkers.
Great boutique hotel conveniently located to riverwalk, 1-altitude bar, and merry lion comedy club.
Walking distance to Clarke Quay, shops and restaurants.
This was a great little place on the outskirts of Chinatown to spend a night. I moved here from two nights in Little India, and while I missed all the great cheap food Little India had to offer, HC7 was close enough to the bay for me to get a decent run in and to get my chili crab fill, also fitting in enough time for a visit to hawker stalls and some of the local Buddhist temples. Room was amazing, clean, though without a view. Hotel staff took ~15 min to show up to check me in, but they gave me a room a few hours early so that's a net positive. Very close to Clarke Quay metro stop so everywhere in Singapore is accessible from here.
This is my third stay at a Clover property and my second at this particular location. The rooms are small, but comfortable and clean. The staff is helpful and pleasant. The only drawback to this property is that the small room size means there are no closets or shelves, so, other than the hooks on the wall, you'll need to live out of your suitcase. But...I really like the hotel, and its location, and I'll be back.
The room is tiny (as expected from most rooms in Singapore) but clean and well-equipped. Staff is friendly and helpful. On the first day of lunar new year we came back to the room and receive a pleasant surprise: the staff put tangerines in our room for us (Singapore tradition).
This is my second experience at a Clover Hotel in Singapore, but my first at Clover 7. The rooms are small, but very smartly designed for utility and comfort. The wash basin was on my desk, which minimized my desk space, but I was able to work with this. The bed was very comfortable - which was true of my first Clover Hotel stay. The hotel staff appears to be shared with the Clover 5, so I found myself stopping in there for help calling a taxi. My only problem at the hotel was that two of my showers were without hot water. If not for that I would have given the stay 5 out of 5. I would definitely consider staying here again.
Very small rooms and one day, there was no hot water
