Avoid if you can but if you are really desperate it's ok

We had a long layover in Singapore so we just needed somewhere to rest. When we arrived at the hotel we were very disappointed. I didn't know the hotel was located in the red light district. The room stunk of smokers, had body hair in the sheets, caught a roach. Worst dump ever...

none more. nothing less, good location , not for family stay, very small room

Many reviewers make a big negative of the red light district proximity. no big deal. the neighborhood is "vibrant" but the corner of Orchid 81 was pretty quiet and I always felt safe and comfortable at night.

The WIFI was there but not perfect by any means. rooms are fine but tiny. staff good. free parking for first comers I liked the neighborhood.

Only stayed for one night. When I heard it was on the red light district, I expected the worst; however, there was a family staying next door, and I also saw girls clearly not in "the industry" walking alone at around 1 am. Internet was really bad though. Room was small but ok. Good value for money

It's clean and comfortable. Have a good night sleep.

I was only in Singapore for a few nights and stayed here, the bed was comfortable enough even if it didn't quite handle my full height. My only real complaints with the room I had would be that there only seemed to be one outlet in the room and that the bathroom was on the small side, so everything got wet when I showered. But it's manageable.

Good. The staff friendly. Close t dining and night life.

needed a place to sleep while waiting for my connecting flight. Hotel is located in the RLD area (didn't know that)... it can be a cultural experience to see the other side of Singapore. Nearby you can find lots of food stands with cheap and delicious Chinese menu...

At the price that I am paying, I would have no complaints except that maybe the Hotel's housekeeping should sweep under the bed more often and also have the pest control authorities do a monthly spray job of all the rooms as once in a while, you would be able to see small cockraches (not too sure of the spelling) crawling out from the nooks and corners of the small room. These are the two major setbacks about the hotel. The staff are all friendly and there is not a moment that you can go hungry with all the various eateries around.

The location is good, 10 mins walk to MRT. Since it's in red light area, so be careful at night. Room is small but have necessary facilities, and, you get what you pay for... 10$ for internet access per day. Cleaning starts from 7:00am in the morning, which is annoying...

Walking the streets beside the hotel,I find rich kinds of food, delicous and cheap! Chinese food,Indian food...... I ate different style food for my everyday breakfast, lunch, and supper. Good taste!

The good for the hotel is that it was cheap. The bad is the location--there were hookers on the street outside, and some of them used the lower floors of the hotel to transact business. This was definitely evident on Friday and Saturday nights. Not so much on Sunday night. There were cockroaches in the room as well. Just a seedy place overall.

Smack in the middle of the red light area but don't let that put you off. Good value for money, clean and small rooms but well equipped incl. cable tv. 20 minute walk to the nearest MRT station. Plenty of night life, restaurants and shops around the hotel but never too noisy to sleep. Well at least not as noisy as my snoring.
