Rude receptionist. Strong smell of bug spray in lobby. Narrow hallways, you can hear people outside, every door opening and banging. Some guy was talking on his phone in the hallway at 2 am and I can hear every word. No partition between shower and toilet. Toilet always wet. VERY small rooms. Housekeeping knocking on door even when Don't disturb sign is on the door. The best thing about this hotel is the proximity to train station and food stalls.

I was given a room with no windows. Check-in and check-out time on Orbitz were also very different than what the people at the desk told me. I got charged $10/night for requesting for a room with a window and $60 ($15/hour) for checking in early. Again - you will get charged for everything.

Hotel 81, Dickson Road:- The staffs were great- helpfull and honest. The middle rooms without window but for just for sleeping, this fairs well. The location to MRT and bus stops are conviniently near. Variety of food available nearby. Value for budget driven visitors.

the hotel was located in a good conviniece location. the room was quite satisfy and highly recomended.

Little India is an eclectic area but not clean like the rest of Singapore. Hotel was very clean but basic. Good value for the price.

Booked a room for 3 people. The price was reasonable. The room itself was nice and clean. The bathroom was okay, the only thing being that there was no separation between the shower and the toilet. There was also no place to keep the luggage when unpacking and our room did not have a window. Otherwise, the staff were very helpful and nice. For the price and location in Little India, it was a good deal.

The staff was very helpful. The room was small but functionable and clean.

The rooms are exactly what the hotel brocure shows. It's very basic, but it's also very clearn. This hotel was fairly new looking. If you want a budget minded launch pad for your daily activities in the city, this is the right place. Staff was helpful, and te room was quite dark for sleeping, and quiet. The rooms are small, but functional for 1 or 2 people.

Overal good budget hotel. Only detail, noise heard in other rooms and hall. Althought area around hotel not luxurious, very clean and safe.

My rooms was not clean. The bathroom was dirty and tiny and there was no shower area. So once I showered, the entire bathroom get wet and was not usable for several hours. At least it's cheap.

I got a room with no window and no sound-proofing, which is OK for that price. People who complain about the size of their room seem to have never booked one in HK, or NYC, or Paris, or any metropolis really: they're all that size. However what killed it for me was the lack of Internet access. Although it is advertised, from the other reviews here and on the Web it seem pretty obvious they don't have one at all. So if you need to keep connected, avoid that one.

Rooms were clean. The bed was comfortable. We planned not to spend time in the room so the small size wasn't a concern. The hot water supply for two adult showers was ok but a bit marginal. A short 10 minute walk to bus stops or subway. It was a good place to shower and sleep - just what we required.

two thirds of the rooms without window, makes a prison-like feeling, that is why not to recommend

The hotel is in a good location, very clean. It is an excellent hotel for people who care about value and do not care about all the fringes
