The hotel is very close to many major sights, all kinds if public transport are available as are cafes , shops and resataurants the room I had did not have a window which I thought would bother me but didn't in the end it made for a quieter room (apart from some uneducazed guests) the room was clean and functional with a decent TV , hairdryer and a much appreciated kettle bottled water was also provided as was shampoo and a dental care set enough plugs for todays mobile devices and last but not least very forthcoming , helpful reception staff,of course there are more luxurious hotels around but if like me one wants to see the city and not sit in his room this is a fantastic deal, should I ever come back to this city it will be to this hotel again for sure
This hotel is conveniently located. It’s close to the metro stations, there’s a 7/11 just outside and another small shop in the next building. Chinatown Point Mall is just across the road. Chinatown street is a few metres away, where you can buy souvenirs and plenty of options to eat at. There was no window in the room though, and the room was quite small. Not much space to put your things on. Staff are nice.
4 night stay as stop over on way to Bali, great location and access to MRT, yes rooms are compact but staying here was just somewhere to shower and sleep for us, room was cleaned every day inc clean sheets and towels, kettle with tea and coffee and water replaced daily, we found reception staff friendly and helpful, and cleaners do a great job
Every time I have business in Singapore I stay here. The price is good, the staff is friendly and helpful. The location is awesome. You can walk to Furama center, shopping, the open market and train is right across the street. The rooms are basic and could use a little TLC, but are clean and TV is good and wifi is free!
well I would love to say the place is good hotel is in the middle we get mrt easily we were in the heart of Singapore but I would like to say bathroom was v. Small and there is no wardrobe that's the only problem which we were facing during our stay otherwise value for money 💰.
We stayed 4 nights here. MRT station and malls are just in front of the door. Room is quite small for 2 adults and one child. Hotel's design is vintage. Staffs are helpful. However, please consider that you can hear the sound of MRT underground at night so that your sleep might be a little bit disturbed.
Terribly small room, hardly room to walk around bed. No shelf or closet space, hangers on wall instead. Did not replace towels second day or provide coffee for coffeemaker. Would have been better and cheaper to use a hostel. Also, the walls are thin and you can hear down the hall and outside traffic. Only redeeming quality is location.
the reception is VERY VERY RUDE AND the HOUESKEEPING also i dont know name of them but please tell to housekeeping china guy dont be rude and teach her to learn how to respect guest!!! when guest asking for the extra blanket him dont know and make a stupip rude expresion .. why?? the management never teach how to work at guest services ?? please dont be like animal again and again staff working on 09/07/17 time 2030hrs
spent a couple of nights here recently great location in Chinatown and close to the MRT. Small clean and basic rooms at good rate for Singapore. Doing an upgrade at present so a bit noisy if there in the day time but if like us out and about checking out the charms of Singapore not an issue. So close to the night food market at Chinatown.
was there for 3 nights in April for business. Old hotel with old rooms. windows are very small. Inside rooms are very small as well. this hotel is near to chinatown area. Wifi is poor. there is a MRT station right at the exit door of hotel and you can go Marina bay area by the change of one MRT train. friendly staff. Towels are not new and white and toilet is very old.
