Hotel is clean, friendly staff, near MRT, close to food court & Raffle market. One of the best Hotel to stay in Singapore.

Very nice hotel and very clean. Great city views from your room. People are very friendly.

Very comfortable room and nice common areas, including pool and exercise facility.

Fairmont just didn't lived up to the expectation. I was very disappointed with the hotel and room design. The lobby is at all times very crowded (it felt like a massive tours hotel rather and an exclusive one). I was offered (at a price) an upgrade to the newly renovated suites with fantastic views (views were not towards the Marina though). So I took it. Room is very spacious but it felt more like a standard business hotel rather than a luxurious suite. The A/C failed so many times and maintenance had a very hard time to fix it. We ordered one day room service and food was terrible. The bread was stale and all flavors were at best bland. Breakfast was however, very extensive and tasty. Staff was also with great attention, but for me the overall experience didn't make the cut. Would definitely look for another hotel brand in Singapore.

Great location, across the street from Raffles Hotel and directly above a subway station.

This was a honeymoon trip. We found the check in efficient, access to the room very easy with the fast lifts and staff working hard in the exec lounge. We had mixed experience with the concierge, with either tips witheld or mixed up information being received. The bellman, food area staff and telephone staff were all very amenable. The north tower rooms facing the bay are obstructed by the south tower or the swissotel tower. Our bathroom was large and spacious, but the bathtub drain plate was broken. There was rough plaster surrounding the flush button. The complimentary water was much needed and the pilow menu was appreciated. The marketing photos of this hotel are either very old or heavily modified. The condition of the hotel leaves a lot to be desired, even in the renovated north tower. My single trip to the pool revealed dirty toilets next door, debris in the pool floor and a very dated changing area. Having spent extra for the club lounge access, the decor in the lounge was depressing. So we made up by looking out at the views. To be honest for the money we spent, we were left dissatisfied. We weren't made to feel like we were on honeymoon despite an email exchange well in advance. I ended up asking direct questions and a lot of prompting to elevate our stay to slightly more than a routine hotel stopover. So overall, I don't think we will be returning here for our next visit to this buzzing city.

Very good experience indeed. The small bottles of water by the coffee machine are for free, this should be clarified.

Loved the hotel and location! Good breakfast and very close to subway station and shopping area. Walking distance to many attractions in Singapore!

Really a great oasis in the city. It's connected to Raffles City mall which is convenient for just about anything you need. Also, Chjimes is just a block away with a few nice dining options. Staff at the hotel are very attentive and the rooms are well appointed. The spa, gym, pool, sauna/steam, and hot tubs are great too!

Treated as a very welcomed, valued repeat guest, the Front dest went out of it's way to find me a comfortable room at 6am in the morning which I had not expected. Hotel is being renovated and I was offered a newly decorated and comfortable room, albiet with limited view. However, staff and service during the whole stay was beyond reproach. Excellent hotel in the heart of Singapore.

Friendly , helpful staff made the hotel feel very welcoming. A beautiful property, with a wonderful view from the Harbour view rooms. Nice pool that is large enough not to be crowded. Very comfortable bed and spacious room. Prego breakfast buffet has extensive choices and is good quality. Hotel is in an excellent location above and connected to the Raffles Centre and the MRT. Easy walk to The Esplanade and Museums like the Peranakan or the children's Toy Museum. Stroll around the Raffles Hotel or

Positive: The location is great- walking distance from The Flyer, Marina bay sands, fountain of wealth, business district. Many places around to eat and shop Negative: They try to charge to trick you on everything. I moved the drinks from the minibar to the shelf just above it, and at the check-out they tried to charge me for the drinks I did not consume. Also, I visited the business center in the late evening, but it was closing, so I did not use anything (no internet, no printing, nothing) and at the check- out they tried to charge me for it as well

Everything is good, location, service, spacious room, comfy bed, design of the hotel, only one thing that I don't like is the TV is old school and small, may need to upgrade.

I stayed for five nights-- Arrived quite early then first day and the let me use their hospitality suite which was quite nice. They were also able to accommodate my request for a room with a single large bed vs two singles even though I had failed to initially request it. Despite being booked, one of the on-site restaurants was willing to fit me in for then time slot I wanted because I was guest--and isn't this often the point! I was only on the 10th floor, but the balcony had a lovely view of the Esplanade and NDP fireworks, as well as the flyer, Marina Bay Sands and financial district skyline. The features of the room--especially the bed side controls--were excellent. The cost is not that much more than other four or five star hotels, but you can't beat the features, location or comfort.

I stayed at the hotel for an extended business trip. The hotel met my expectations, even though breakfast was not included, I got good value for the money. - I would not take a room facing north again though. Also, there was a construction area close by, where they work at night also. - Tip: to get free WiFi in your room, you have to become member of the "Fairmont President's Club members" in advance.

This is a world class act for sure. The amenities are great it's extremely convenient you can go downstairs to McDonald's or have five-star dining in your room. The executive rooms are completely perfect with a great cocktail and snack service in the executive lounge. This place is a treat to be enjoyed at least once in your travel history and life. Its worth seeing Singapore for any reason but even a special treat to see it in a five-star facility like this with excellent service and attentiveness. The Fairmont is located in one of the best locations to pick up the MRT system or to walk to see dozens of attractions in easy and convenient travel as well as one of the world's largest underground shopping facilities It find completely air-conditioned clean and safe with almost anything imaginable at your fingertips are within a short walk for shopping experiences. The Fairmont also hosts one of the best loyalty user programs and reward offerings in the industry and treats their valued customers excellently with many perks. There's a reason why they call places five-star and this would be one of them. PS they provide you toothbrush combs and everything all you need is your undies and clothes in a place like this that's how good it is.

This is the type of place that you can look forward to staying at there are not too many hotel properties on the planet that it's easy to say you look forward to staying in my opinion and this is certainly at the top of that category. There is a great attention to detail customer service and to attempting to upgrade facilities to the latest standard in the industry although no operation it can be perfect it is human and physical nature it is obvious that this company does their very best and attempting to make sure the guest is satisfied even under challenging times on both ends. I could not say more better things about the Fairmont and Singapore and have enjoyed the stays on dozens of occasions I'm always respected remembered and treated royally through the rewards program even when some things have been passed their expiry dates. There is an excellent buffet breakfast facilities are great and if there can be any complaint is the swimming pool is crowded on one Sunday afternoon which only speaks for the excellence of the facility and the happiness of the guested stay there. There is excellent shopping of all kinds within easy walking everything from quick fast food from McDonald's to try and five star meals you can shop in the supermarket downstairs and bring a snack to your room or have a five star dinner delivered to your room it doesn't get too much more convenient. Stay here at least once! Its a treat.

I am torn between loving this hotel for its amenities, quality, and outstanding location, versus the terrible amount of noise outside that prevented me from getting a good night's sleep every day that I was there. The problem is a huge Times Square type electronic billboard across the street that blasts the same 5-minute loop of music endlessly, day and night. Even with the sliding glass doors closed and locked and the curtains drawn, one can still hear that dreadful noise. I started keeping the TV on all night long to drown out the noise, which was only partially successful. I would think twice before coming back here for that reason alone, even though everything else about the hotel was excellent.

The location is great, next to MRT station, near the bay. Rooms are spacious, quiet, and comfortable. It's not as modern as other hotels available... if you're a fan of Mad Men, then you'll like it :) Price is a bit hight but that's Singapore lah....

Booked this hotel because we were looking for a reasonably priced 5 Star hotel in Singapore. The Fairmont did not disappoint: location was excellent being right in the heart of the city next to the Raffles Hotel; the room was large with a beautiful balcony overlooking the pool and the south part of the city. Subway service and shopping mall is right next door. The health club was large as was the pool. Probably as good as you're going to get for around $200US per nite.
