It was fine. The metro is right across the street with the hotel being a major stop.
The staff are super friendly. I would recommend this hotel. Convenient to everything.
Great location, just a few feet from MRT transportation, lose to restaurants and shopping.
If or when I return to Singapore, I would definitely stay here again. The location and close proximity to hawker centers and MRT stations were great! It's within walking distance to many places to visit, including Marina Bay Sands and Super Tree Grove. The price was reasonable, and being on my own, I felt very safe. The staff were all very nice and helpful.
Such a bad experience coming to this hotel, location was good but hotel was just unacceptable with tiny space of room and higher price. Doesn’t matter Singapore or Tokyo , I’ve seen it all. The concern is, if you are paying over $100 in US currency for a room rate then it should include breakfast. I do not recommend staying at this hotel. There’s a lot of hotel better I’m sure in the same location.
The hotel is super clean and tidy. staff is helpful and responsive. Super cheap if booked in advance. Can't really beat it.
Great midrange hotel in an excellent location — right next to the heart of Chinatown.
Located in a very convenient location -- MRT station is just next to it as well as a shopping mall with plenty of delicious food options. The staff was very friendly as they offered tips on where to eat nearby and provided multiple key cards when I looked like I needed more. At first glance, the room was very nice and clean with a fancy shower and comfy bed. I was facing the street but it stayed quiet within the room. WiFi was fast and reliable -- ethernet was also available. I picked a bigger room but was disappointed to find it wasn't all that big as the bed still took up most of the space. Closet was non-existent in my room and only 2 hooks were available in the entire room (minus the 2 hooks above the toilet which can get wet). The sink was oddly outside of the shower space with little to no counter space for toiletries. The shower room was in the same space as the toilet meaning the toilet can get wet. If you hold your shower head a certain way, it is possible to flood and leak outside of the shower room. Important note: there is a water heater switch which is not on by default. Make sure you check or you will be showering with cold water. No hotel slippers. I read that the hotel offers free cell phones for use but it was not offered to me -- not that I needed it though. Other than the fancy but weird bathroom, I would recommend this hotel if you don't mind the negatives. I would also recommend splurging for the largest room possible if you have lots of luggage.
Tired older hotel. Long lost any charm. Room was tiny, unattractive. No closet. No windows. No restaurant. You can do much better.
This hotel is right at the heart of Chinatown. The room is quite small but clean. Right across from it is MRT station. I still think the hotel is a little pricey. But again everything expensive in Singapore.
We enjoyed our stay at the Bliss in Chinatown. The bed, shower, internet and AC were top notch. Our only complaint was the television viewing. We kept busy daily and when returning to our room we wanted to just relax and watch the tube. They had 9 channels and it was painful.
Checked in and was greeted by nice people at the front desk. Was a smooth process. Got to my room and was satisfied with the orientation and size of my room (single). Room was clean and if it didn't have what you wanted, the front desk will be more than willing to assist.
