I went to Singapore again. Also booked same place as last visit. The price for a room is Sgd60. For a single traveller, it is affordable and reasonable. I can use a whole room myself. If go with friend, pay half only. It is so close 5 mins to mrt Chinatown station and food court nearby. They provide share shower room (with liquid soap and hot water). Pantry with microwave for simple cooking and heating food, I can use cultry. Drinking water, hair dryer and washing machines and fridge. They provide so many facilities like as home. Staffs are nice too. When request map, they also provide. I got it and walked around the city easily. I wont pay high price for luxury hotel. It is not worth for all days outside visit. Just sleep, bath and clothes washing. I will stay in next visit.
Place is ok if you just need a cheap hostel for your accommodation that is near an MRT station (Chinatown). Nothing fabulous. Nothing fancy. Only curtains separate you from other travelers. It would be good if time to time the bathroom will be clean since this is a common bathroom.
Double room are really small but well-equipped: clothes hangers, mirror, dust bin, power outlet, lamp, aircon. Fluffy pillows, mattress make sleeping very comfortable after a tired day of going around the city. The guest house provides free microwave, fridge, drinking water, desktop, dish, knife... Bathrooms are well-equipped. If you need to wash your clothes, there are washing machine and each turn costs 3 Sing dollar. Nice! Wifi are strong. Staffs are nice and helpfull. Location is great. 3 mins walk to the nearest MRT station.
stayed there for 3 nights. stayed in the 4 bed room only to realize later when i got there that it was only a flimsy cloth curtain that separate our 4 beds from the other beds. shared bathroom but never experience having met or wait while other occupants when used those. very near temples and a block away from the Chinatown MRT station. lots of nearby food stores too. very friendly staff. got back to the hostel and was allowed to stay in their lobby at 4-5pm while waiting for our companions still shopping though we already checked out at 12noon. strong and fast wifi.
All other hostels are lower priced and have more value. There is an easy way to get mow priced hostels with good service. There is even one hostel that is filled with books for reading. This place has nothing. There are no walls, just big cloths to seperate beds. The bathing area is terrible.Other places have great bathrooms .Also there is no breakfast for the price of the booking. In other places you can get lots of bread, chocolate and jam spread and in other place there are even high quality fruits. This hostel wants only your money. The management and owners discourage people from mingling .There is a big filipino group here with T-Girls....you get the picture now.The place is a red building and so you can get the idea of red with another concept.
we stayed in dorm with 4 female beds, share bathroom, everything nice, clean, friendly staff, very near Hindu temple (1 minute walk) and Chinatown market to buy souvenir here is cheap, and food in chinatown complex near this Inn, near MRT to go anywhere in Singapore, good location and nice place to stay, i had a nice trip here, thanks Inn
The good situation and the price are the only reasons to get there. Other than that... nothing very cool to say. For this price you cannot be expecting much ok but at least... clean your hostel ! Check under the bed ! Vacuum !!! Talking for the dorms... Nice trip guys !
It's a good place to stay for u who don't really like spending your holiday only inside the room. It's got kitchen, fridge, we can cook n feel like home. It's also cheap. I recommended this place! It's close to MRT, you just have to walk only around 5 minutes. Food center is reachable, market for buying souvenir is definitely near ur stay.
Just needed a cheap place to stay for our 3-day dragonboat competition at Marina Bay. It's a good 15 min walk for us from this place to the race site. We've stayed a couple of times in Chinatown and we try to stay in different hostels. Nothing fancy about this place. We got a private bedroom with A/C, cabinet, dresser and stool. No windows. TB/shower are for sharing. We used the ref and got unlimited refills of water (cheaper than buying in 711) and we enjoyed using their washer and dryer for 2 days :) If you're not to keen about cleanliness and stuff, it's ok to stay here for the night...
Booked this as a cheap option in Singapore with some friends. Mould on the walls, pokey rooms with no windows, unserviced a/c and showers that stink of urine. The only thing this place has going for it is the location. Avoid unless absolutely necessary
